Bonga yes I am a shareholder, I was merely referring to an old post where someone said this could be a FTSE 250 co within the space of a year. I am supportive of the company and was very disappointed that the trial 'clearly' missed its initial target, but I am concerned that we're now way behind schedule and the market for generic sildenafil is just getting more and more saturated. Great spelling of dyslexia by the way, I assume that was an attempt at a joke..

For what it's worth Petty I agree with your post as I have long felt the N4 boards were a collective act of dissonance reduction. There was even a textbook gambler's fallacy the other day I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. If Nuvec doesn't come up trumps then it'll be onto the PE reformulation, and so on.. I hope it doesn't come to that but at what point do people agree that this might not be in the FTSE 250 (or one of the many other fantasy valuations I've seen) in 6 months?

Be Heard taking a pasting this morning on the back of their trading update. Not sure why it's being punished so much they posted LFL rev growth of 15%! Let's hope the same doesn't happen to BBSN when they release the interims..

I already am! At least it does pick up buyers when it drops to this level, but I'm kind of hoping it stays down here until the AGM so that I can give them the full 'disgruntled shareholder' lecture.

The consensus seems to be that if they can put Nuvec to good use then it could be a real company-maker. Great that they have a partner for it already but what sort of chances do people give it? It's very early stage, so is 15% sensible or is that too bulllish?

You seem to trot out the same nonsense every time riskisprofit .. "40% today", "this is going to rerate" or the rampers favourite "can't buy" .. I can buy plenty as it goes, but seeing as I don't know who David Farrier is and that there seem to be plenty of sellers as soon as it gains a bit of ground, I think I'll leave it for now..

Completely agree that all there is to do is await the full results and I'm glad there was no sugar coating of the initial findings so it can't be punished much further. I do have a bit of a 'caveat emptor' feeling at the moment though - clearly shared by many others who sold out immediately on the news.

Yes there's a patent, but they've got to get the formulation working within those parameters and then release it into a saturated market that might just say "so what?"

The problem with your 'averaging down' mazik is that some AIM stocks give you the chance to do that over many years.. As Rodders says, the RNS did have the sound of "well that was a bit of disaster but hey we've still got Nuvec!" - no wonder it is now back to sub-10p. The FDA are approving new versions of sildenafil all the time, so the delay only plays into the hands of competitors surely? If they tweak the formula and get the product out that's great, but by that time it might all be a bit of a "me too" market.

They certainly talk a very good game.. the blog posts are sadly little consolation for the big red number in my pf. I am probably going to go to the AGM next week in case you'd like any questions putting to them.

The company is doing incredibly well. Their lead product is great and they are going to sell into the US soon. Also looks like they'll be announcing an acquisition or two soon - one for the 'long term hold' drawer I'd say..

I'm aware of what he said, but I don't agree with him actually saying it. He seems to be a good CEO but I don't believe he should be projecting future mcap valuations when the company is less than a tenth of that size. He should be getting on with the job of building great products and forging partnerships, not giving share chat rooms 'ten bagger' fodder which people then start calling conservative. Sorry to be a bit like Roy Keane after the England game last night, but some posters on here were already organising the victory parade.

I don't believe for a second that Nigel keeps back blockbuster announcements simply to appease long term investors. This is the risk with early stage pharma, much as it is with junior mining companies.. people get far too carried away with things (it was in fact you Leister that said a £400 million valuation was 'conservative') so I'll take your comments with a pinch of salt if you don't mind.

Despite Nigel's experience and product roadmap it's very hard to be enthusiastic about the current state of play here. The sildenafil reformulation / retrial is going to be several months away (considering full data isn't going to be available until August), Nuvec sounds promising but is still at pre-clinical stage and the other drugs all sound exciting but are really only written down on paper at the moment.

Maybe my mood has been affected by last night's football but N4 being a £400 million company seems about as likely as England winning the next world cup at the moment.

I'll rephrase my last post as it was actually a question rather than an observation.

Does anyone know if anything came of this? I've looked back and seen posts saying things such as "talks are being progressed" etc but I can't find anything from the company to corroborate this.
