Daytrade here are just some of the reasons that article from an obscure US website trying to up it's viewers obfuscates. Which do you disagree with?

It's strange how these articles about Leicester never mention this, yet always mention the Nottingham university report it paid for.

For those who don't know, Boo set this charity up!

Strange how things can be presented isn't it.

The CMA started an investigation in 2021 beginning with three brands. It has since been widened out which implies it has found nothing serious so far.

The Levitt report concluded that Boo had done nothing illegal. The leveson report concluded Boo has done everything it has said it would do. The biggest complaint from the Times article seemed to be the warehouse didn't have enough windows.

We are now in 2024 and Boo has opener a US warehouse implying hearsay from 2021 was just that.

Funny how the article doesn't mention any of these things.

Maybe Boo has moved out of Leicester because it has done everything within it's power to execute change there.

And let's not forget that US Customs said Boo had committed no criminal offences, which is something else the article failed to mention.

Boo is far from perfect but we need to look at things in a balanced way

Daytrade has now posted the same article atleast four times, which is simply spamming the board

Still hasn't answered how a man in late middle age in Cornwall comes across a tiny US based website posting contentious garbage to try and get it's viewer numbers up

Not interested in the petty squabbles but it's interesting to note that the trolls have already had Doug's original post removed and are now "misinterpreting" it.

Doug actually said that the LGEN sp was down as it undoubtedly is.

There was nothing in Doug's post that breached LSE rules as far as I could tell, so it could only be removed for multiple reports.

Read into this how the trolls act as you will

I think that's correct Alex, any serious investor looks 3 to 5 years out. It's one of the reasons II's will lend to shorts, they operate over totally different timelines.

As for the trolls, their only purpose imho is to disrupt the board and put off potential investors by making it unreadable. That's why it's best just to challenge what they post once and then ignore their attempts to goad into an ever decreasing chat circle

What have been headwinds for the last couple of years will either moderate or may even become mild tailwinds.

On top of inflation coming down, real incomes are starting to go up again, and we should get atleast one tax cut tomorrow.

It doesn't mean either Boo or ASOS will be a winner, although it means their opportunity to be so is greater. My point is more that Boo is better placed to benefit from changing macros as it is already further down the transformation journey and ASOS is largely trying to copy.what Boo has already implemented.

I wouldn't be surprised if ASOS does get taken out however
