i tend to fluctuate between market makers being in it for themselves or just incompetent.

what you see across multiple shares is the creation of down trends, which market makers then extrapolate to try to create liquidity but all they achieve is even less volume as traders won't buy into down trends.

the market makers then ***** about money leaving aim and it being a smaller value market. without admitting that they are at the root of the problem.

maybe occasionally they could try an alternative strategy. raising an sp will create atleast as much liquidity as reducing it in some situations and would make the overall market look more healthy and encourage new investment

0.2% is the retail fee they will charge once the site is fully up and running. However, we know the vast majority of users at present are the equivalent of beta trialists, so they will be paying much lower levels of commission and may not be paying commission at all.

As the base grows we will move closer to the .2% but I doubt that we will ever fully get there

Kat simply by being here and holding, you are also making the assumption that revenue won't plateau.

If it plateaud GST wouldn't be a growth business.

We know Semnet alone had more revenue last year than the total for GST. We also know they have won atleast one massive contract.

All start up businesses make losses, as the upfront costs are far greater than initial revenues. This changes over two to three years as fixed costs stay much the same and revenues grow. I was certainly expecting a loss in the historic accounts.

The revenue growth between half one and half two is very encouraging and it looks like trading now is break even at worst. They also have cash in the bank.

What GST now need to do better is telling the revenue growth story. Some of it is conditional on Easysend happening, which I believe it will. Bit some of it should come organically from the existing businesses.

I'd be disappointed if we don't top £10m revenue atleast this year, but I expect another statutory loss.

But, as I've said on numerous occasions, that is academic at the moment because growth businesses are initially valued on revenue

James I think any sensible investor anticipated a bounce from the 60s, I certainly did which is why I bought at that point. So to say your statement about .4 is correct is simply delusional.

Wrt to the sp action today, I'm surprised you can't see the short attack that occurred as it is blatantly obvious. We'll just have to disagree about the rational nature of the market. What revenue figure were you expecting. It was actually about where I thought it would be.

As I've posted multiple times, companies like Gst are valued on revenue and growth potential not profit.

I'm surprised you think there are no further catalysts for sp growth this year. We have atleast two acquisitions to complete as well as the half year report. Plus any other trading updates the board choose to share.

Superzero do you think this is a funny post to make on a board where people are set to lose their entire investment. Pretty low goading trolling isn't it?

I'm intrigued by your view of the market as rational. The sp is virtually unchanged from where it was two days ago. A massive rise followed by a massive fall. If you wish to apply a rational lens to that, then the market is ambivalent to the results.

However, if you think the market is rational, how do you explain the flurry of posters who appeared here in the first hour and then vanished. I see one of them has briefly reappeared btw, if Aimmaster is in your corner you should be very worried about the company you keep. Furthermore if the market was rationale, why do you think the sp fell from .77 to .73, despite virtually all the trades prior to the UT being buys.

Today's sp action is far from any kind of rational market, if you genuinely understood things as well as you think you would recognise that
