And one thing that GST has always been is a scrupulously clean company, it's one of the reasons I've stayed invested.

Let's do a simple example AHS. Let's say GST needed to raise quickly to complete an acquisition. If they then say on the news for a fortnight, all those people who sold in that period would have grounds to sue GST for loss of earnings if the sp rocketed, because GST would have acted in breach of market regulations.

People sell for a whole load of reasons AHS.

You think they will sit on information for weeks, in breach of market regulations, just to stop a few of CMC's pet investors making some extra money?

There will be a rich news flow in the next weeks and months but it will be done under market rules not in breach of them

By stopping people who took part in the placing from making more profit, they are also exacerbating the losses of others who sell due to lack of communicated news.

They would leave themselves open to legal action, hence why it's market abuse

I'd agree with the eight year thing, if it was one continuous project and engagement. If it was a case of popping in for work for a few months every couple of years, then that would be less surprising.

I have known change managers who have third partied for the same business for a number of years and been back a number of times but not continuously for more than 2-3 years
