Range trading isn't what day traders do at all. A range lasts far longer than a few hours. Long term investors also range trade. It helps maximise the size of the holding and determine the best time to buy and sell. Most long term investors have multiple pots.

PLT has been virtually 100% profitable since being bought. It needs returning to what it was but who do you think is better to do that, Ashley or Umar?

Kachrafilter if you don't understand range trading you have no business investing. Do a quick Google search.

The plan is quite simple

1. Right size the cost base. They have actually made massive progress on this.

2. Move from 13 brands to 5.

3. Grow all 5 brands via the market place model and communities. Go take a look at Boohoo brands for instance.

4. Grow internationally via wholesale partnerships. See Nastygal in the US and Karen Millen in India.

5. Potentially sell off unproductive assets

That's a quick top line summary.

It isn't a case of "is there a plan" it's a case of "is the plan credible

Maybe go and do a little research yourself.

It isn't that there isn't a plan, anybody with half a brain can see the plan, it's a case of how credible it is

Kat an alternative theory is most of the buying is coming from actual investors and LTH topping up at a stupidly low price.

If that is the case there will be very little selling at 3p. Possibly at 4P if people take out stake money. But it will depend on momentum at the time

And all within a few days.

Unless ofcourse the story about the initial buyer walking away was only ever rumour.

I've posted about plenty of things that are wrong.

I've posted that if Umar is being paid a straight salary then it's wrong. If he is avoiding paying tax that is doubly wrong.

However, somebody needs to point out all of the BS you and southcoast are posting is based on allegations from Frasers. Allegations that they have couched in very careful language. For instance Frasers haven't stated that Umar is avoiding tax, they simply stated that his remuneration is being paid into a Dubai bank account. The innuendo is all southcoast's work. And by supporting it you are equally wrong.

So he is responsible for everything

It is strange how when I posted in September that Umar has rejoined nobody else commented on it.

Indeed most posters here last week were saying it wasn't true. Then they were saying it was true because his Insta had been taken down. Even though it hadn't. And it wasn't true because there was nothing on his socials about PLT. Even though his socials are full of PLT.

Now, apparently lots of people who take Frasers at face value were also discussing this and contacting the company back in September. Despite no real discussion on here at the time.
