There is no logical reason why a consolidation should lead to an sp falling below the consolidation price, it is simply an observation that on AIM it virtually always seems to happen.

I'm not sure of the benefit of consolidation unless regular fund raising is required.

Most shares seem to fall below the consolidation price so I'm not convinced it's of much benefit tbh

My understanding is that all trades have to be published within two days, so I doubt it

Mike these big trades are negotiated off book so that in theory they don't affect the market price.

They will be agreed at a specific price that the mms will ant to make a profit on so will order fill and adapt the book price accordingly

So, in reality, the logic doesnt really make sense but it is how the market works
