So let's look at some of your points more closely southcoast.
Does revenue always keep declining.
No, at some point it will find a base point driven by loyalists and new acquisitions. The question is, have we found the base point yet.
Are lower customer numbers always a bad thing anyway
No, not if you can identify loss making customers and get rid of them.
Have website views for the Debs group dropped over the last year.
My take out, without detailed analysis is that, is that the numbers have stayed consistently between 40-50m, with an obvious uplift at key trading points.
PLT rebrand.
Rebrands aren't quick southcoast. I'm guessing the rebrand kicked off as soon as Umar came back into the business. I'd guess when we see them, if they break them down sufficiently, the PLT revenue numbers will be shocking for FY24. But that has no relevance for how the brand relaunch is progressing. My personal view is it still has a way to go and PLT numbers for the start of this FY will be disappointing. But just like you I don't have a clue, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will be worse than last year.
Boohoo man to me seems to be doing OK. The website visits for Boohoo.com for June were a worry, but that follows a statement that May was really good for the group..
Debenhams.com had a phenomenal golden trading period, so it's not surprising that the website numbers have dropped off. What is important in the yoy comparison. Once again I don't have actual website numbers from last year, but I don't recall Debenhams being higher than Boohoo.com.
So it's likely to be a mixed bag imo.
