The interesting thing about the RNS is what it doesn't mention at all.

The recent speculation has been about the non standard finance, which wasn't mentioned at all.

The reason for the refinancing may well be a good enough reason though.

If the Sky news is true, then I'd guess whatever the purpose of the finance is, it would be subject to NDA.

So that would explain the last few months silence

The original refinancing story stated categorically that Boo were negotiating £125m standard RCF refinancing and £50m special purpose lending.

It remains to be seen whether this is the case.

But with this potential lender having previously been in Debenhams, it opens up a whole load of possible scenarios, all of which would be commercially sensitive

If the deal structure remains in its original form, then that indicates that Boo don't believe they need more than a £125m RCF.

Given the suspected paucity of the current cash position, then this would seem to suggest that FCF is improving

If we don't know the terms Hexam, why posit that they will be bad.

The original story talked about standard refinancing for the existing RCF and an additional £50m specialist finance, presumably for a specific purpose.

We don't know if that has changed.

If we assume the additional funds are for a specific purpose, then given the potential funder then it is most likely for an acquisition.

If the deal is close then I'd guess the accounts and news will be released at the same time
