The free float here is small when you look at Frasers, Kamani/board controlled shares and II's combined. Any disclosure above 5% would send the sp rocketing anyway i'd guess.

So IF Shein are involved, it makes sense for them to operate under NDA

Quite often Mm's will try to create a mk misleading spread. It happens on quite a few AIM shares where you will see quoted spreads anywhere up to 25% with real spread probably more like 5-6%.

Lots of potential reasons why they do it tbhy but always good to look at the actual prices paid

He also stated that H1 adjusted EBITDA will be ahead of last year.

A couple of other interesting take outs.

1. Debenhams growth is continuing and the biggest category is home not fashion.

2. They haven't drawn down all of the RCF so the financial situation is nowhere as dire as you have been posting.

3. The potential buyer for PLT is a strategic business that faces severe issues from Di minimis in the US. Which I guess narrows it down to one of two.

4. I lost count of the number of times he referred to new management. With no sign of Kamani pulling his strings at all.

5. Finley came across as very impressive, Ellis desperately requires some media training and he doesn't need a gilet indoors in summer!

My personal view is that the reason the results came through intraday is because they realised that the sale couldn't be done by Friday.

Still, she has made a chunky buy and now owns just shy of 2% of the business, which speaks of vastly increased confidence
