I don't call a possible 2 grand a decent profit after 17 years, I could have got multiples of that in an isa.

I must agree with some, that this all sounds a bit staged. I'm just not quite sure who staged it though. Was it Jim, trying to force calibres hand or was it the other company letting us share holders know of their intentions.

Going to get interesting though.

My concern is Calibre could just walk away if it was Jim who let the cat out.

No worries Bigman, I doubt anyone put there life savings on it happening this week. If they did, they need a check up from the neck up!

No real point trying to guess the end, I reckon they've got most on here by the short and curlys, not many will be prepared to bail now, when it should be so close to the end.

I still think it will happen, but I'm not as confident as I was that it will happen before Christmas.

20 minutes in and 1 million bought against 6000 sold and the share price hasn't moved.

At some point they have got to let this go. I feel it's being artificially held back for some reason.

Like many, I think we may be close now. The selling of the SAG mill means who ever is looking to buy doesn't need it in my opinion.

On this feeling, I decided to do a final top up of 6800 shares. I've been trying to get a firm quote for a while now, and it has only now gone through at bang on 20p.

I'm with ii and received my Divi this morning.

I'm still waiting for the cash part, but I could if I wish sell all of my GTE shares.

I'm going to hold for 6 months and then revaluate, I hate selling at a loss but think I will have to at some point.

I need £10.70 a share to just to break even.

I guess only PE knows what is in the pipeline.

I would hope that once results are shown to be successful, that the first orders will follow soon after.

Hopefully, not one where we have to be involved with putting any money into it, as I believe it would require a fund raise.

It would be nice if the Aussies could sort themselves out and be the first. I think that could be the quickest way forward, rather than relying on the likes of Longford or Macedonia. Poland seems to have gone quiet and Protos requires us to fund the whole operation, so I believe that's years off happening.

Just my opinion, and would love to hear others.

Good to know things are still on schedule and the process going forward.

Not long to wait now and then hopefully we will see the back of 1p for good, I would like to think we could get back to at least 3p on successful testing, and then start to see orders rolling in.

On my ii account, the corporate action announcement was saying, the new shares and cash payment date is 11th November.

So may have to wait a little longer than Friday.

Good luck in whatever you decide RP. I'm certainly no share Guru and you could well be doing the right thing. I've done it my self in the past and then bought back at a better price, but for me it's a hold and let it ride now.

Can't help you there BD, as I can't remember the last time I used a train. However they must be doing something right as there share of ticket sales is increasing year on year. Also remember they are big in Europe too, and only getting bigger.
