Isn't this clear market manipulation? 🤔

Frankly, a disgrace.

Jimzi,
I am unsure that the financial value was the goal ... it was the shares ... and the limited availability to PIs ... and more as "reward" and "incentive" to all those are involved in the company.
-- BB --
Gee,
I sadly agree with you ...
Yes, there is a perception (right or wrong) that TB & Family have shafted us again. There is nothing realisitically that we can do about it ... and anyway, the PRD result should be with us soon - which, hopefully, will go our way and TB and his dealings will be consigned to history ... or until this time next year!
If the PRD is a positive, then the SP will (hopefully) rise and LTIs will smile again. If not ....
In IB, I trust.

The science is still being hailed.

I see that several PIs are predicting that TB etc will take IQAI private ... however, a quick Google shows:
Special resolution of the shareholders: Sections 97-101 of the Companies Act 2006 allows a PLC to re-register as a private limited company by passing a special resolution of the shareholders at a general meeting or in writing. This type of resolution requires a 75% majority vote in favour of the change.
Unsure that he would get 75% majority vote!
My prediction is that IB will be sold off and a special dividend will be paid to IQAI shareholders ...
But then, this is IQAI, who knows what will happen ...

Hi Shrek,
You are probably 100% correct.
Looking at: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1693011/000119312520197525/d919364ds1a.htm
"We may seek a Rare Pediatric Disease Designation, or RPDD, for one or more of our product candidates. ... the FDA has two months to review a Class 1 resubmission ..."
But that is from a Company not the FDA.

Not disagreeing CL.
The company has "60 days" before the PRD news will come through ... so the placing should be done & dusted by then.
£300k pays for what? Um - the wages for TB, MS and KS?
It does seem all rather rum ... and I mean a bad rum (Bacardi) ...
When you see other companies (especially AIM, which we are not!!) being torched ... you feel sympathy ... now we are in that position. What recourse do we have? The time-frames for "action" are long.
SO - it comes back to the PRD ...
-- BB --
I can understand why PIs are doing so BUT surely if the PRD is greenlit, this will rise a smidge?
And if the "ask" dips below 1.5p - which it looks like it may - the need for buying through Peterhouse is negated.
-- BB --
The likes of MS and KS would have seen their shareholdings plummet ... BUT ... they (undoubtedly) like TB (£100,000?) receive an annual salary from IQAI ... so the pain is less felt ....
The remuneration part of the May update should be of great interest.

Trek,
Gosh, I am sure he/Family has purchased these shares at NO loss to himself - crafty but legal. Time will tell with a TR-1.
BUT as ever, I am going with the science and will buy a small amount at 1.5p.
Best case, PRD is a yes and double the money.
Worse case, PRD is a no and it's further kick in the goolies time.
I reckon, PRD will be a yes, SP will rise and he will sell loads of shares to make more profit!
-- BB --
If the PRD has been submitted and is granted - would the SP increase enough to claw back some profits from this debacle?
-- BB --
Raising £300k at 1.5p. Hmmmm.
Well, he could have CLN'd it and kept it all for himself ... or place and indeed give us the chance to but in too.
So, did TB and Family "buy" the 20 million shares at 1.5p?
Is this bone, our opportunity to purchase shares at 1.5p?
Cynic says - blah! He has purchased the shares at NO loss to himself. Crafty but legal.
Non-cynic says - well, at least he is offering us a bone ...
-- BB --
It's a bad joke that just gets worse by the day ...
-- BB --
Let's face it, things could only marginally get worse!
But could get a lot better!
Always look at the bright side of life!!
-- BB --
Tyke, have given some thought to just that point ...
IF TB sells IB then IQAI "should" be cash-rich, and like BRH, he will undoubtedly give all shareholders a dividend and - depending on the sale price - could be sizeable. This will benefit him ... and us.
BUT if TB/Family has been selling its holdings, then this would not be advantageous to them or indeed us.
Of course, we need TR-1s to confirm who/what is selling/buying.
I did like a comment from someone who suggested that the Family needs to be at the 20-25% mark for a big investor to come onboard ...
I am hoping (often beyond hope) that after the FDA greenlights (60 days?), we have a big pharma ready to buy in.
I was worried by one comment about TB going private - but then, we - the "other" shareholders - have over 70% of the stock and we could/would reject any derisory offer ..
Hey-ho. Time will tell ...
