appreciate the feedback sharcus - sadly if that's the only institutional investor, then they own less than me in this company!!!
Monecor placings have caught me out on other shares in the past - I always thought they were a single entity that funded placings, but then I discovered that sometimes actually the shares end up with lots of PI's.
It still surprises me but I accept your findings, looks like most shares are out there with us little guys...

I don't expect the NO vote to carry at all, as much as I want it to. It could only ever be a message from small PI's. When the big chunks of shares (like TB's) are counted it'll be an overwhelming YES.
The short term share price will be better with a YES than a NO vote, but at some point in 2022 the big placing will come and it could dilute PI's to the point of no return......

The obvious answer Chavi - they knew from the start of 2022 that the COVID response was cooling in the UK and that the CX300 test wasn't going to be viable. They sold, made their money on the 18p they paid and then we got the RNS that confirmed it.

PS - no worries at all Skippsy, good to have a sensible chat on this stuff for a change :-)

Not all BRH investments are medical Skippsy - Gyrometric Systems for example.

This is opinion only (disclaimer!) but I started the thread last week on TB buying into CMH because I firmly believe there's some link being cooked up here at BRH.
BRH keen to place shares to "take advantage" of volatility whilst TB is in at CMH to the tune of nearly 30% of their shares....
This feels like a TB move.

We're in the same space - if I thought placings and share issues were fair and for the benefit of all PI's I'd agree with you.
BUT
The return of the revenues from RMS was not what you perceive it to be. TB had built up a 25% holding in BRH, so he got a wodge of that dividend and then it allowed him to sell into the ensuing frenzy spike.
The next thing we saw was that the company needed cash - why would they need cash? If they had reinvested the dividend instead of handing it out to TB among others they wouldn't have needed to place.
As it happens the placing that duly came was given just to TB and his relatives at a stupid price.
TB has made millions out of BRH - PI's as a whole not so.

The problem isn't BRH investing - they are an investing company.
The problem is the first paragraph of the RNS Skippsy. They are asking for the carte blanche to fund investment by issuing shares to anybody at any price and as last year proves, that can be to TB on a closed basis at a deep discount.
BRH haven't made gains on their existing investments so perhaps should cut their cloth?

There is likely to be a spike coming - we're a week away from year end and the next ISA allowance year.
Tricky Trev might be about to get this spiking - in which case the exit door draws closer.

Do they go on shares issued via AIM and not in treasury, or use a metric that includes all shares owned by directors?
I thought that most of OBC is owned by the Chambers clan or by an institutional investor - the 5M Monecor shares that were placed in Jan/Feb or under warrants in 2021 to start with. They also provided placing services in 2020. It may be that these shares are with PI's rather than with one institutional investor?

I just hope for both of us we get the window we're looking for!

Halma - we all face having to jettison at a loss, even those of us who averaged down.
The hard bit is to accept that's the case and time the escape for the minimum damage - I've moved from refusing to accept a loss to watching for the best escape point regardless.
If tricky Trev is buying just before year end then there's likely to be a bit of a spike coming up which gives us the chance to exit stage left at the best time, before the resultant behaviour sends it back down here again.
May still be at a loss, but not as bad as now.

He's just bought another tranche of CMH (Chamberlin) so he now owns 27.62%
So here's a couple of conspiracy theories for you ;-)
Watch this space BRH'ers - he seldom does stuff like this unless he has a plan.
Maybe for a placing here at BRH to buy some more of CMH...?
Maybe he'll divest here at a profit after paying out a Phasefocus sale divi and buy more into CMH himself?

You do realise that there is no price because no placing has been confirmed?
They are asking for permission to make a placing in the next 12 months, at any price over the nominal 2p value and to whoever they like that suits the board (TB) at the time. For up to 20,000,000 shares.
They are asking for permission to do whatever they like - that's why I (and many others) voted NO.
They haven't identified a single need for this placing yet.

OK - I think I could understand that duplicated ramble....
In the mean time, this is a startup AIM project and whilst the RNS look a bit like Bill and Ted wrote it in the garage, the upshot is that they have 2 years operating costs in cash balance and no liabilites. No placing needed yet.
The revenue is tiny, but it doesn't include the dividend inflow from AFN -remember OBC own 17% of that, which covers most of the market cap of OBC.
The value here is also in the value of cryptocurrency held - Eth and UMBR. You won't see the balance sheet until year end and that will be where the net book value shows through of both this and the AFN share.
In the mean time whether you believe that the Narni bridge will start generating further revenues, or indeed any of the other projects, is your call as an investor.

"Some will recall he also said that KPOP revenue would be more than 10 million, which has also proved to be true". I'm not aware any confirmed revenues have been published?
