(Still not provided a better version of the Slides you inherited back in April 2020).

One further thing to note is it's not just 9 months.

This unknown company will have put forward a (supposedly) viable plan + timeline when bidding to on-licence SRA737, a year ago (?). They knew what they were getting and knew what they wanted to do it and how they would implement it.

Therefore, they have been planning trials far longer than 9 months. To have seen zero progress thus far is beyond a joke.

And yet, 9 months down the line we still hear nothing. Balls up by CRUK's negotiation team once again.

Shame Sareum have zero say in this, cannot hold a mystery corporation to account despite 27% share and can do no reporting for some unknown reason.

Compound design and synthesis

Compound 18 was first designed and synthesized by our group. The precise synthetic route was followed a previously published reference [21]. 8-(5-Methyl-2-((1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)amino)pyrimidin-4-yl)-2,8-diazaspiro[4.5] decan-1-one (18). To a flask containing the general intermediate (1.0 equiv), 1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-amine (1.2 equiv), n-butanol (10 equiv), and concentrated hydrochloric acid (1% equiv) were added with stirring at 100 °C for 10–12 h.

However close the two compounds are, this is very positive.

Conclusion

Overall, we identified a selective JAK1 and TYK2 dual inhibitor, 18, and confirmed its therapeutic effect in two different of IBD mouse models. Concurrently, 18 exhibited suitable oral bioavailability and low toxicity for long-term use. Based on all of these results, 18 is a meaningful lead compound for further studies of IMIDs.

If we had 48m volume on a sell off day, the sp would be more than 10% down I can guarantee it. The Bod are absolutely right - we are seriously undervalued and should be back at 0.5 even without news. My avg is 1p so I'm keen to get back there with some good news!

He isn't advancing anything. We received some desktop data from Anglo. We cleared some scrub. We possibly did some soil sampling. All since we stopped drilling in 2022.

The exploring should be happening now so we have some results when the headwinds change. We have had money coming in for months so there is no excuse.

You can argue that analysis of data saves money in the long run. I don't buy it anymore. Analysis should take 1-2 months at most, not a whole year.

Bizarre that shareholders didn't lay into Colin at the AGM for his (apparent) lack of interest in moving things forward here. Words are empty and it seems that when every AGM comes round, he says some sensible stuff about these things taking time, the value curve and tricky headwinds and shareholders seem to forget for 2 hours that he's full of sh**, sold us down the river about 2m tonnes being a foregone conclusion and all the while still earning 125k for half a days work per week.

I think my blood would boil if I had to sit in a room with Colin, listening to Liz Truss style statements, whilst being down 60-70%.

In reality, if we (and CRT) are being paid for milestones, surely we would have received payment for patient recruitment and first dose in patient?

The January RNS states: "An additional fee made up of up to £1m AND 500,000 shares...may be payable...[in] the event of the Licensee Company achieving certain commercial and material financing objectives."

If this was sorted, would we not have been notified? Or can they somehow keep it under wraps?

Also interesting to note that the 2016 agreement with ProNai included a £7m up front payment whereas 8 years later (NPV of £7m in 2016 anyone?) for the same drug but further down the line, the up front payment was...£0.5m.

Great read Damion thank you. Nimbus' story would seem to support Potnak's view that we need data from patients. Love the finale:

To those preferring an on-licence rather than a buyout, who says there will be significant up front payments? 737 has actually been in patients before, yet nothing up front. Are our negotiators better than CRUK's who managed 0 up front and a contract as water tight as tissue paper.

I am extremely worried by giving away complete control of our compound's progress. I can guarantee their interests will not align with ours and their lawyers will be even better!!!

Why would Colin want to speed up the gravy train?

In all honesty, I don't think Colin has our best interests at heart. Yes, he's a major shareholder but he gets more in one year via his salary than the shares he's bought in 7(?) years as Chairman.

I think he has his favourites in his stable and unfortunately (for now) we aren't one of them. He doesn't have enough time nor as an octogenarian to dedicate to us.

We need a dedicated person in charge, whose priority is returning shareholder value and achieving exploration progress asap, not someone whose pastime is to find the next elephant while putting his feet up 4 days out of 5...

Can't argue with that Hawaii. Numerous routes to value, most of them involve us securing a return in terms of funding or giving the impression we are a takeover target, like Chesser. There is lots of potential here, we just need progress on all fronts. Completely agree about the interview. Would be good to hear updates on all workstreams with a competent interviewer.

Great results but what's the strategy here? How do we see shareholder value? There will be no return to 1.5p unless there is a buyout or excellent results which lead to an on-licence in Cameroon.

The market just isn't interested in drilling results. The only RNS which will see 100% increase is one that guarantees income or revenue. Otherwise, it will continue to rise and fall sub 0.5p.

Bring on the end game. Been here 4 years and currently still 60% down.

Great news about the patent. Another string to the bow that should add some value to our portfolio.

I do feel we have an ever shrinking window for a buy out. If we agree a buy out now, pharma X gets everything. Lock stock and barrel. No complications, apart from the mystery pharma behind 737. I do wonder if this is a major sticking point - how can we possibly negotiate a takeover right now if we can't disclose who has our part-owned compound or what they're doing with it!

On the line of "ever shrinking window for a takeover", if we go down the on-licence route with pharma X instead, why would pharma Y come along and jointly own 1801 with their competitor?

Well played the BOD for holding off the on-licence for as long as possible to accrue as much value as possible. Hopefully everyone has learned from 737 - the main takeaway being that the junior has no say in direction nor timelines and we, the long suffering shareholders, are probably kept in the dark once more.
