We do have to consider all the carp we buy from China on top of that 1%. The Uk loves consuming, but we make precious little these days. Therefore whatever carp we buy to sustain or amuse ourselves from countries that now do our manufacturing I think should go on our quota.. But has little to do with Avacta. Some decent jokes though TEMPLAR
The bit I left out of my reasoning was it took into account that ‘surplus’ word that was bandied around the end of last week, it was the only way to make sense of that. I know joining the dots again like we do, is it a giraffe or **** and balls?
My thoughts are that we may be in discussions with the government re the number they want and how long for. So they may want this dynamic purchasing framework but that doesn’t benefit us that much but maybe if we (our manufacturing partners) get to use the machines for non government manufacturing when their orders decrease, then perhaps we cut some kind of a deal. Just one of those vague thoughts/ideas about what could be going on.
