RE: Maybe some on can answer my questions?28 Nov 2020 12:27
@ Charlie – CGH (SBLM) sold the asset/mine to CGO for cash & shares and beyond being (IMO) a temporary shareholder of CGO, it has no control or say in this company. CGO bought an asset off of SBLM that was worth more than it was worth at the time, and this is referred to as a ‘reverse takeover’. SBLM was not taken over by CGO, only one of its mines. As a result SBLM became the major shareholder in CGO, but agreed not to get involved with CGO or sell the shares for an agreed period. That is my understanding.
Now it may be that either SBLM is trying to get a return on the asset via CGO as a shareholder over the long term, CGO doing what SBLM could never do by getting it into production. Or, (IMO) SBLM wanted to monetise an asset, ie raise cash, and will sell its holding as soon as it is allowed.
I have not researched this company, as would never invest in this kind of miner, but I would not tarnish the management here because of our experience with SBLM. Leave these poor folk alone. We have a board to cry on! Lol.
Wish you all well. Its all a learning curve on AIM!
