RE: RE Missing posts3 Jul 2021 14:54
I am sure many on here have reassessed their holding. The RNS was a big disappointment because of the slip on the refurbishment and slower, longer expansion/up-rate, higher costs. This has made people feel that the Jam has now been pushed ever further out and raised questions on management’s ability, and certainly dented sentiment badly.
Yet I see no material change to the outcome here. It will take longer to reach the targets we assumed last year. A year? They are addressing costs across the company. New Operations manager installed to improve worker relations, rectify over ambitious timelines and realistic requirements for the upgrade. Like doing up an old house, these plants probably need a lot of bits replacing. It will be an ongoing exercise and expense. The good thing is they have recognised their mistakes and are taking action. Maybe Comms one day too!
Based on current (realistic) production, costs and V prices, the income would justify a share price of more than double the current. At least mid 20’s. If the production targets are reached, then this would move to mid 40’s and new highs thereafter. The spangle model seemed realistic, now needs a little adjusting. I believe we have no problems selling our products.
So my case here is we are currently undervalued by 100% based on today’s picture, with the growth potential looking very good once the refurbishments and upgrades are completed. I believe VFRB’s are going to create enough demand on this metal to keep prices sustained at or above current levels. I believe the management we have will do it. The only downside is that I do not think we will see 30p this year unless a consistent flow of good news is delivered to drive up sentiment. Fundamentals alone don’t seem to be able to do it on AIM, but it is my basis for investing. I’ll stay and wait in any case because sentiment will come back at some point because of the profits or the green story.
A year to double your money seems good to me, but I thought the same thing when I bought my first BMN shares over two years ago! The company has in fact doubled (Vanchem/Enerox) since I bought, just not the SP. It is hard to find stocks that are so undervalued as this one, but recent events did remind me why you should not put all your eggs in one basket.
