IMO i wouldn't sell your current holding, at best I'd be either avergaing it down if you don't get the placing shares or sitting on it. As strongboes says the placing is effectively priced in at this point its more of a market sentiment. The company itself looking at the margins and sales figures still has a grossly undervalued MCAP.
Its rare to see shares at such a discount, in normal circumstances the shares are done at a 10% discount and the SP would normally decline to that point and then bounce off it (if the SP was rising before the placing). In this scenario i highly doubt we will see the SP hit 80 however i suspect we will drift down till Monday before the SP finds its feet. At that point people who ringfenced funds to buy into the placing but didnt get any will probably buy back in anyway regardless. An oversubscribed placing announcement normally has a positive effect on the SP aswell. Once the placing is out of the way i think we'll get back between 180-220 comfortably and sit there till next set of news. Unfortunately i think thr placing knocked the wind out of the sails for 40% rises on no news. Just imo and DYOR etc
I honesrly think he's just a newbie investor thats mad because he sold into the drop then bought back and is annoyed after the fact. Doesn't understand basic placing rules despite it been reiterated to numerous posts made by him
Toffy, they were already in talks with the II's when deciding the placing, so the II's took the decision to accept the placing at 88p, they didnt make the decision on Monday
Why are people still not grasping that the placing price was determined a week or so ago, when the average share price was 88p so it was just a 10% discount. The SP then rose over 100% from that point and there was nothing they could do to defer thenplacing at that point. Its literally been discussed like 8 times. Pointless comparing to other placings. Just very bad timing.

Congratulations worse advice I've read on the BB so far today.
The placing will be massively over subscribed and the amount of shares in that case are normally dished out proportionally. 99% you arent getting how many you ask for if you ask for a stupid amount
Easy, more sellers than there are buyers at the minute, give it a few days to sort itself out, there'll be plenty of people taking profit and trading it after such a sharp rise and sharp drop
The order will be partially filled but because the price shifted it won't get completed, unless the price shifts back up for long enough that it is filled it will get cancelled. Normally takes up to 15 minutes before they cancel it because the price moved too far from the order price
