The amount of people that are failing to understand how a placing works and how the price is worked out for the price of the placing is astounding. The BOD don't choose the price, it was an average of the previous weeks SP when the placing was submitted. Granted they timed it very poorly but you also have to realise the share price has done 100% on a week with barely any news.

They already have given clear indications of the grades of ore being found during the mining activites on the social media. People just seem to pick holes and look for underlying meanings in every RNS now.

Take a look at the limited information of the JV and how the ZCDC operates, the community can very well block it, its the way its being setup since the reforms.

Stakeholders are VAST, ZCDC,ZIMGov and the local community.

In a round about way we are an extention of VAST by being invested in the company. Don't look too far into it.

Its not down to the Zim Gov at this point....it's down to the community manager and he doesn't want it happening while he believes there is still corruption afoot.

No one is denying the Zim economy is in the dumpster and has been for years, but a simple reading of the article with basic comprehension would show that its not up to them at this stage.

No they are the same deal, one of the requirements of the deal as a part of a new zimb initiative was to include the local communites in any mining activites. As part of this and to weed out corruption the zimb government formed the zcdc who act as a joint venture person and a sort of middle man between foreign investors and the local communities. Alot of this is quite new and is having teething issues but in the long run it should work out a less troublesome setup if the local communities are on board and benefiting from the deals in their areas.
