RE: How Are People Buying?11 Nov 2020 16:01
Babyinvestor. Here’s how I started. Yorkshire electricity share flotation. 5,000 at £1.32. That was my savings after 10 years at work. Sold for £9.70. A share. I put that in a pension scheme. Then after another 30 years it had magically transformed, for all I know by oofle dust and fairy spells into £500,000. I cashed it at 60 years old and split it between eua, ggp a Scotgold. Bit of luck and hopefully if I can stay alive a bit longer I’ll enjoy it. Common theme there is loooooong time. Patience and carry on as you are. You are doing loads better than people who can’t be ar5ed with investing. Stick in there and be patient and study the stock you are buying until you you know the bods birthdays. ;-) Good luck. But I don’t think you need it.
