JD1972.. If someone has a huge buy order or sell order they are going to do what they can to fill same and make money in the process... Once Vaneck have had their buys filled oif not already now) then I think there could be a case for others to place their large buy orders now or certainly leading up to 7 Nov so they can get in on the act if the MMs decide to let this fly on the back of said orders once they have been filled. I bet our brokers are all on the phones drumming up business as we speak.

Pdub. They might not all be PIs and if they are they might be a few of the thousands out there who don't read this BB (or any come to that) and are spooked by what they are reading on other BBs or they're having their stop losses triggered while they're at work...or simply raising a few quid to cover this weekends rugby bar bill... Guess we'll never know eh...

There will always be those who try to make money on a down trend as well as an up trend.. Its the game and apparently quite legal.

The whole point is, Vanadium is played and treated like a commodity. While BMN remain a single Vanadium player their SP will be subject to movements in the V price. However, once they are fully diversified with different income steams from different market sectors and are themselves less reliant on a single raw material source and production plant/kiln then the whole game changes and they will have the benefit of being looked upon as a multifacited play and the SP far less influenced by the commodity price. 7 November may not see huge rises in the SP but it will be a huge turning point for BMN on which a solid SP can be built upon... But hey this is just my simple opinion...

Lindon...afraid I don't know who or what the Asian connection is but what I can say is the main part is SA and the name YD is more to do with the business he is in rather than anything to do with Asia.
The most important point to all this and the point I was trying to make, is that YD are not some selfish faceless investment entity but very much known to BMN and highly supportive.

Jwobblin...many on here for a long time have wondered if there was a Chinese connection. I for one asked certain parties who are in the know and was assured with great authority that there is no Chinese involvement hence my comments.

Might they need to produce their own electrolyte prior to London facility...Eskom perhaps but what about other deals/orders prior just for electrolyte which we know has already been sampled into the marketplace. This could be quite a lucrative new little income stream to offset London set up costs or even go towards speeding up Vanchem refurb. Every bit helps eh?
BBN as I said, I fully noted your comments but Vanchem does come with several ready to go pieces of added value, even including Ivanti profit share..all small but when added together they could amount to a nice chuck of change as well as broadening our marketplace base thus further de risking the company overall

Since 22 Oct we have fallen into a flat line trading band between 27. 0 and 28.0 which says it all really based on what we know about REMX fund needing to top up and the posters who have suddenly appeared to give their assessments of the situation. It's so blatant it's now rather fun to watch and for those wishing to buy they may be doing you as much a favour as they think they are doing for themselves or their customers.

When the bullies appear it's a sure sign someone is looking for a bunch of cheap shares or to simply drive price down pending a rise when they let it loose so they can sell at max profits.
All investors, long and short, big and small and companies too are all looking to maximise profits.
That's the game we're in.
As much as nobody like to see their paper profits decline, we all know from the facts, this honey will turn and everyone will have their day in the sun again... Patience often pays the best dividends and the games will end once the likes of Vaneck and the Canadians get act together.
Roll on 7 Nov the date were all working towards and perhaps 28 Oct the date Vaneck/Remx may be working towards.

By becoming part of the BMN camp perhaps as another subsidiary business perhaps. Vanchem electrolyte for the time being for African Market for starters... BMN lease deals to meke them more competitive in other markets etc... BMN is using them on their in house mini grid so have faith they will be in business going forward... Why such faith... Why not use UET...????
The money appears to be there based on what we've learnt in last two days.

Either they don't fully understand what it all means or they know full well and with the new 7 Nov deadline will try their best to drive price and pick up a bunch of cheaper shares ready for
1. Confirmation we have the full Mokopane Mining go ahead and
2. Confirmation Vanchem acquisition completed on 7 Nov.
Hate to pour cold water on this week's events but we aren't quite there yet...

Finally if Vaneck need to buy more shares then their order could be forcing sells at the 27 mark which will turn into buys at a higher price later on. Again they need to act fast in face of new date.

BBN... Any thoughts re their comments re investing in battery manufacturer(s).
1. Lease deals.
2. Cash injection for profit share.
3. Outright acquisition.

Any of these could generate new income streams and increased orders for Vanadium and/electrolyte.

Opps.. Should read.. Beyond today's cash value.

Mcgrco... Value... Instead of taking the cash they are investing it in shares in effect which should if that cash saving is invested by BMN in other businesses like battery manufacturers reward them and us by increasing the share value well beyond what today's cash value...
