Tightest spread i've ever seen with 11.29p to sell 10K , and 11.33 to buy. they are trying to get up some interest one way or another. Trouble is the total lack of news for such a long period everyone has taken positions already with some new news required to stimulate the market one way or another. slightly aggrieved that Brad could have done things a bit better with more information, but I then ask myself why..he doesn't need the shareprice up, he's not considering any rights issues, and I expect he would prefer long term investors rather than feed the dealers and speculators.

The 35k reported sell at 13:00hrs is miss reported and is a buy. Trading spread has narrowed again, with the drop off in trades. Roll on the RNS, cant be long now. Time to light the touch paper.

we know Brad has to release news within the next two weeks. He always plays it right up to the wire so I'm going for next Thursday. Seems the MM's are getting greedy now with a large spread of 11.2/ 11.8 for 20K on barc. Guess that'll subdue trades a bit, unless you're a forces seller.

Can I come out now Smidsy , I must have jinxed it. Mind you price is holding up more than I would have thought, have we a large buy also going through.

Whats unusual today is the lack of sellers that we have previously seen at 11p levels, causing a retrace. I put this down to the period of consolidation that we've recently experienced so they have sold out and gone elsewhere ( being polite). In addition it points to strong holding by investors expecting a much better return and higher prices. This is a good sign for when we recieve very good news shortly.

Well we didn't see that RNS that we're hoping for. However it certainly hasn't stopped the steady buying today again. Reports from some that volumes were starting to limit yesterday hence multiple smaller buys. Today the price to buy and sell has been risen much more than yesterday with less volume but a higher rise. Almost as if we were clearing a overhang yesterday (or order), and now the brake has been released to attract sellers at a higher price or deter buyers, balancing the books once again.

True and he plays to the Canadian market rules, which states he has 60 days from the end of the quarter. He should release them before month end. (two weeks). Its hard rules not Brads whims. WCS prices are rising again as well, which is always good. I think we have another stock accumulator at the moment, just sells a couple to make google finance drop, covering the accumulation. Full ask now being paid.

With the quarters updates not more than 14 days away, we are seeing some gentle stake building and top ups in preperation. Brad would not have been able to negotiate much more favourable loan conditions with a potential doubling of debt, if the current results he's had to show the bankers to get it were anything bar highly favourable. I feel this company is on the cusp of another re evaluation based on hard results, with Zac Mir predicting 16p. whether Brad decides to release other news remains to be seen. For me good figures are enough at this juncture.

We are now awaiting news from Brad on his drilling program. Quarterly results are also due as well, so its a toss up which we will get first, or both together. Currently a lot of drilling rigs in Alberta unused so availability must be good, probably awaiting infrastructure unless hes after more acreage of course. He'll certainly be forgiven if he'shunting around for the most competitive drilling rates around, great to get more wells for our cash. Trades are drying out now, cant be much "hot money" from traders invested in edge now, hopefully we'll hold onto a greater percentage of our next rise. I think this is a good sign.

excellent sum up bixbb, wasn't there an EGM meeting in a week or so, could well get an update then. Brad certainly doesn't believe in wasting money on RNS's. If you look back he doesn't give out much at all. He runs a very tight ship.

some good discussed subjects on advfn on this topic, other options are some plots coming up for sale in the near future, others suggested outright purchase of a very small drilling rig so we could drill all our own. waiting on the news from brad now, last year four weeks to the day of adequate funds, the wells were drilled and completed. we are two weeks after news of funding already.

eerrr, 60p is over 5 times what we are today. What I like about it is the risk to reward ratios. IE: Low risk..good political environment drilling reserves. Sure there are many companies out there that are a potential 10 bagger plus, but they are much higher risk, with wildcat drilling programs. With a high risk company its best to have a modest stake, however with one like this I believe its pretty unusual to have good potential returns and lowered risk (not risk free). With such a company a more generous stake is justified. As an aside it must be noted that current reserves are only on a small portion of our oilfields. Brad has cleverly left a lot more upside to come, for those with the patience to hold.

If we look at last years drilling program, funds were raised by 18th Nov, and 4 wells drilled and cased by 18th Dec. If this speed is repeated we'll be drilling in the next couple of weeks, possible oil production by end Aug. Pretty amazing progress. We were thinking that the next RNS in three weeks might be a drilling program, it might be "job done" instead.

my target price is closely aligned with your own Womo, although my time frame is a bit longer. Brad now has the ability to launch a drilling campaign stretching into double figures. Hopefully the longer lead items have already been ordered and the rig booked. Our new loan is payable at 4.75%, or $300k per annum compared to $378K previously with the ability to draw another 10M plus. Thats 25K a month..or 3 months free compared to previous rates.

buying in single figures today is a bargain, rude to turn it down so I just had to have a few more, even if i'm raiding the coin jar for coppers. We are on the cusp of getting some news from Brad who considers himself to be in "blackout", hence the reason for total lack of any news. One things for sure, I really hope its worth waiting for as I heard on the grapevine "you wont be disappointed", well I'm sure it'll take some pretty mouth watering news, to make it true for every investor here, but hoping I'll be proved wrong.

I fear you could be right Traa-DY-Liooar, Brad certainly isn't gushing with newsflow. If you look back at the amount of RNS's that he sends out its barely one every 2 months or so on average. Certainly takes some getting used to, after a lot of companies tend to share news on a weekly basis.

I believe quite a few investors have e-mailed Brad asking for a regular update. Doesn't have to be market sensitive news just minor info, but would stop the "aim drift", problem is when you hear nothing for months you start to suspect the worst.. which isnt always the case, and it doesn't inspire that confidence to keep topping up. I fully agree with your comments Paul.

Looks like we had a seller yesterday trying to drop the price, appears he met very strong resistance at the 10.0p region, bet he was cursing as the sells were taken by a serious buyer also taking a position. We have seen more steady buying pressure today and the price has moved towards 11.0p. We now have a new strong level of resistance at 10p on this share, which bodes very well moving forwards, and underpins the price very nicely.
