I see a couple of nice buys have gently gone through in the last few days after a larger 500K buy. Now can only get a price to buy 10K but can sell over 100K for 2.02p. Does someone know that Brad is about to reveal a deal??

Edge were showing signs of being well oversold and still are. I think the US data yesterday which showed an overall drop in stock (crude minus refined products), is indicating the turn of the tide for the huge USA crude glut that seemingly has taken forever to reverse dispute weekly dropping rig counts, but no sign of a mass balance drop. Very good signs that the first signs of a drop will accelerate from here, and we all know what effect that will have on crude prices and small but streamlined oil companies. Btm line here is a potential 10 bagger.

can only buy 50K now for 2.92, however i can sell 200K for 2.55. not short yet, but these are the normal first signs. Indicators pointing to further rises soon.

Think we will see good rises on the best run canadian oilers like edge, however the less profitable ones may find funding very difficult indeed. What we have seen in the past is general rises and falls along with crude prices, instead of more company specific ones. seems others also share this sentiment with 250k buys this morning already, when the oversold stock gets snapped up. next thing we will see is stock availability starting to run short, as dont often have that much in free float.

Certainly the rig count bears that out. Here are edge at a bargain price, wont be long before the price rises oilers are seeing filters through.

Brad has demonstrated how he can reduce costs to the bone, however siome other local oil producers are not so efficient, and are in dire straights. Think Brad is eyeing them up for purchase. Dont just sink another well on our own acreage, when we could grab another company already producing, deploy edges cost saving techniques and have a rapid company expansion. Just my view of course.

Now is the time to do research. Opec countries are all suffering. Indications are Opec may join with Russia and cut supply. We saw some buys the other day only reported on ISDX, which increased the price. Today I'm having trouble getting a quote to buy, however can still sell 100K. Normal signs that a price step increase is about to happen.

There are more than 2 buys, not everything ogets reported on google or here. Well undervalued in my opinion.

Looks like other investors have also read the reports smidsy, I had a very nice top up yesterday that was not reported, however it seems that others reached the same conclusion as myself with a few buys coming in today.

Actually a 47% reduction in operating costs from 22.50 BBL to 11.98$ BBL, a remarkable achievement. Company now making profits as a going concern. Paper right down impairment loss on its rented gas compressor and field, to give more accurate accounting as well.

think its the new well applications thats caused the price to start to spike. About time too I hear some say.

hearing that the company is making as much for our oil as when wti was US$92 a barrel due to differential and and exchange rates, now we have water processing which should drive down costs further. strong hints that we may be starting a drilling campaign very soon. hoping we'll next the news in the next fortnight.

I suspect the buys are due to favourable economic data looking good for edge. US crude stocks fall again. This is also during a period when us refiners are have turnarounds, so I'm expecting heavier drops soon. This supply V demand is having favourable effect on crude prices and associated costings like transport and drilling costs, which are seeing the effect of under capacity. Falling heavy crude availability has squeezed WTI/WCS margins, and transport costs as well as drilling costs are falling. Crude prices have started rising as a result, and edge, and leaner and more efficient company is well placed to do well. Falling rig counts lead to a delayed effect on crude produced, and with the world consumption starting to put on some growth my view is that we may even see a bit of a squeeze later this year.

hello tdalamh, great to see you posting again after a pretty torrid winter with depressed oil prices having a negative impact on this stock. I dont think its all traders buying into this stock, as at least one of the first trades yesterday was mine, as I've been gently buying all spring. currently I can sell 150K on barc for 4.8p, but can only buy 50K for full ask of 5.25p. Pretty greedy spread by the mm's.

stock availability is starting to dry up it seems, can only buy 20k on barc at 4.75, but can sell 100k. When we've seen this before it often leads to a rise.

Seems that the much smaller canadian market has had a buyer, but at 180k, has had a unusual effect of jumping the price a eye watering 40 percent. Normally that size of jump on relatively low volume would only be as a result by a positive upgrade by the mms based on actual news of some kind, or rerate of the stock. Very positive indeed, which may well trigger more buys this end today.
