we know Brad is in the market for more acreage, the drop in crude price will deflate the competitions appetite, as we are one of Canada's lowest cost producer. I suspect the delay is the fact that Brad can now smell a bargain potential purchase. For me this is a really important piece of data that gets overlooked.. we are one of the lowest cost producers.. but have all suffered an equal slump in value.. Just take advantage in the knowledge if you can.

Its not what you buy at but what you sell Womo, I can never call the btm either..often its just luck, current price is still near the bottom and a good entry position. Some of the most successful guys I have seen wait till the rising trend is firmly established before piling in. They never get the btm, however they don't try to catch the falling knife either, resulting in a high percentage of winners. That point is almost here now with this stock turning nicely.

I'm actually pleased at the delay now with news after the drop in oil prices..one of my concerns was that we may have bought new acreage at top dollar only to see that value plummet with the crude price. temps are now dropping in eye hill and we are approaching that "ideal " drilling time, when the ground starts to harden, but not bone cold conditions. I agree with you bouncer that this company is pretty unknown across the boards. however we do need an update to get things moving.

So will I, if this drops any more I will double my stake, by transferring over 5 years tax free max avc's, into a sipp. Well oversold now, and take advantage if you can, gut feel is is wont be down for long after Brad announces higher than Jan flow rates and an aggressive drilling program to start asap. Just speculation of course.

I was hoping for some more general news from Brad. He has received some criticism from investors like myself for sure, along with some suggestions how information can be shared. It doesn't have to be forthcoming drilling program if its still in discussions, but more mundane info would be gradly accepted than nothing at all. He has a large e-mail base of investors registered, just use that on a weekly basis, even if its "production steady at 300 bopd", it would be something. Just to share his enthusiasm and dreams for the development of this company on a regular basis would do wonders for the price and stop the drip of funds and price into other stocks whose CEO's do provide regular news.

With the drop in crude prices worldwide, prices paid for new Canadian acreage have plummeted very recently with some huge percentages being wiped off. Has Brad already sealed a deal already or holding out for a bargain deal in this unexpected downturn. Could well be the reason for the news delay while he tries to negotiate a very low price for more drilling rights.

just in case this stock is being shorted down, as no one seems to know who is selling I've put all my stock up for sale at a quid a pop. that way it cant be lent out for shorting purposes.

tightest spread I;ve ever seen with 7.50 to sell 10k and 7.55 to buy 10k on barc. the 7.55 trades are buys reported as sells.

yes every sell has a buy, and the two last transactions of 21 and 22k at 7.55 were my buys. My thoughts are that the seller is the institution that kept advertising that they would sell (as they held over 3%), now they have not stated that.. my thoughts being that they have sold/are selling, and are below the Canadian declaration threshold. What are you thoughts on this guys.

Certainly across the forums I havn't heard of any large holders bailing and I'm in communication (albieit infrequently), with a few of them. I see some investors on here becoming impatient with the lack of news. This is the only forum where I've heard of those feelings being transfered into a desire to sell. Although I share that frustration (and have passed some comments to that effect to Brad), I feel that this is Brads style and not a reason to sell, even though I agree it has had the accumulative effect of some shareprice suppression. We must continue to look at the companies declared aims, which is buy up acreage while ticking along, then sell the lot for a good profit. If the price drops in the interim because of the above reasons, take advantage and top up..I certainly will. Good luck all.

Looks like oil stocks are making a recovery after the overdone falls on friday. Edge seems to be languishing in price despite more buys than sells. A bargain perhaps.

My entire watchlist is now red. Oil prices drop and eurozone worries blamed for main FTSE crash. Time to ferret behind the sofa for a few more coppers. Bargain prices here today, I'll just have to have some at least.

Talk on ADVFN is that the buy trades are a rolled T trade, I didn't know they had to be reported again , can anyone provide any info as I dont know. we wont have any placing, Brad has discounted that. Not impossible to have shared ownership on new developments with one of our wealthy oil neighbors. That would also get my vote.
