Hello mate, the crude price has been creeping up, but edges price hasnt really moved much. In addition the wcs/wti spread has been narrowing which will add to profits for edge. Has mr market woken up to this fact.

Hi Drums, I was one of the luckier ones, who bought in at first at 9p, I then topped up ll the way to £2. Eventually bailed out around a quid, and kept my shirt, with only a mere modest gain. Fortunately working in the oil industry I smelled something wiffy with their production plans, otherwise would would be at 40p today. My error was not taking profits on the way up, and believing their ex CEO Todd Kozel, who bailed out and left his shareholders out to dry. Potential profits were eye watering for me, but not realized. Not good to see a daily loss of over 100K, which did happen. We live and learn, and fortunately I only invest with money I can afford (not want to) lose. I think thats why the increases are slow here, people taking some profit on the way..and from my own experience thats good investment strategy.

i think the share issue will put a bit of a cap on shareprice rise in the short term, as holders will continue to take some profits if it goes up much more. This is mainly transitional and I can see the price rising more quickly once those profit takers have been cleared.

Edge has been in a heavily oversold position, streamlining of the company and its debt, has made it into a more profitable investment. It has decent sized reserves of oil, with estimates only completed on 10%of its fields, and with the green shoots of oil price recovery starting to show, this one has large multibag potential from todays price. This kind of stock, the survivors from the price slump are the ones which will prove to be the winners. Investors today are recognising this fact with a few other oil companies as well. Could easily go much higher yet.

With the usa rig count continuing to fall, and world crude demand looking more positive the market is predicting a higher than expected crude price. Usa crude production may soon start todrop as the number of new wells fall, and existing wells naturally decline. Some share tipsters now advacating oilers as a good investment. I believe this is the reason we are seeing renewed interest in edge. Certainly a great buy at these prices and icontinue to buy every month.

They used to post this every month. Itts just exercising their right to sell, not their intention to offload. Nothing to be concerned about, just canadian law when holders above a certain fig, have to delare in advance their right to sell, so henderson monthly exercises that right.

Good idea bg the investor who moved 15k into his isa wrapper. Especially if you get a minimal spread on the trades. I will also be doinv the same within the next few weeks as well. Makes most sence while the price is depressed due to crude pricing.

Drilling cost reductions are also plummeting as rigs compete for contracts. Reported reductions $29,000 down to $20,000 per day a whopping third reduction.. In addition US rig count of active drillers are down 37.8% on this time last year. http://www.wtrg.com/rotaryrigs.html We have a huge build up of usa crude stocks, as we are seeing the results of previously drilled wells, for which demand has not caught up yet.. This may cause prices to drop in the short term due to glut.. but strangely enough could well lead to a crude shortage later on...I'm not going to speculate what this will do to prices when and if this happens, but its great to know Brad has come out fighting this year with great efforts at paring down costs to a minimum.

many thanks, all ok here, my hotmail account got spammed and request went to everyone on it, they actually re-addressed my e mail addresses and set up a new e mail address account which read very slightly different from my proper one. fortunately no-one got conned, and I didn't get gang raped (think that's extra), others had other bad events like robbed or held at gunpoint. the sneaky thing about it i was abroad at the time, and they took the info from flights etc, to try and make it realistic. The fault was mine as I was abroad and got a e-mail saying storage was full and wouldn't get mail, until details refreshed, and after a glass or two of the local vino, and thinking i'd not heard anything from home, i "extended my storage". then they were in. Passwords now all changed OK and safe, but it does show how easy it is for this kind of spear attack. Thanks for your kind words.

Bit of a long shot but the inference from Brad was that our wells have been pegged back due to water being produced with the oil. However now we have a functional water treatment and recovery system up and running the company can increase pump rate, and produce more oil for the same running costs. Just how much more oil remains to be seen, far better to increase throughput from existing wells than pay for fresh drilling. If proven to work, will have a positive effect on company value. Just my optimistic views of course.

Clearly an attempt at trading, bought the stock a couple of days ago, thinking the rise would continue.

starting to see confidence return as crude slowly edges up. producers are trimming back but we have not seen the effects yet, and potential and real problems from Libya and Iraq have created additional unease.

That is why some oil majors are stockpiling crude as I disclosed a few weeks ago, trick is to build up a nice position now.. if the article comes to pass, prices like this stock will be may multiples north of here. Just my private thoughts of course, but the reasons behind my current investment strategy.

at last we see a few good sells as some of those dealers who took a risk and bought in the last few days or so take some profits. hopefully we'll also see a price spread reduction by the greedy mm's.

looks like 17 consecutive buys on the trot here, guess they've jumped the price in Canada to try and tempt some sellers or they've had a big buy order which they are filling. Great to see some better news for a change.

As often happens with this stock (and will happen even more now), I cannot buy more than 5k shares on barc currently, but can still sell. Expecting a tick up very shortly.

Has led to a buying spree on most oil companies, we are also seeing those effects here with our oversold prices. The general oil exploration market is now seeing cutbacks throughout the industry, which points at success for the Saudis. They could now announce success and raise the oil price further by reducing throughput. Many investment tipsters are now indication cheap oil stocks as a very good buy.

Brad has certainly filled our news expectations after the new year as opposed to a drought beforehand. No complaints at all recently about the amount of information. Shows he does know how to keep shareholders informed after all. I expect many here will breath a sign of relief after digesting the recent news. The company will stay afloat much better than many feared after all.
