Watneys red barrel, just brought back a memory. Working in the Stockport area and the boss took a few of us out for a liquid lunch. A pub serving the above, after forcing down a couple of pints ( as you do on a freebee) I commented that the pub and the beer were absolute sh*t*.
Got " promoted" to Carlisle soon after.
