There are some pretty big assumptions being made here. If we are nudging up to Q2 with radio silence, I would like an update from the company. As it stands, we are well within the forward guidance issued by RM. There is nothing underhanded or slapping us out of left field here.

For now I don’t see the use in speculating. Especially as a ‘delay’ narrative has allowed itself to be established when at present, there is no delay.

Results are still any day now in my view.

Don’t think it’s anything to be too concerned about though. The US ‘establishment’ might not like challenge studies, but the industry clearly does, as demonstrated through the Hvivo contract wins from American pharmas. Lack of regulatory approval for challenge studies in the US merely pushes more business our way!

This RNS that we wait for is THE shot at worldwide recognition. If there are too many question marks, it all quickly unravels. As a small biotech, the margin for error is wafer thin.
They are lining up more than just P3 results IMO. RM is orchestrating SNG’s arrival onto the world stage, a hard task and I absolutely get why they are taking their time.

Well said Skip. A lot of guff being aired on this board today. The timing of results has 0 correlation to the results. They would have known the P3 outcome in relation to the primary endpoints within days of the data being unblinded. There is, however, worlds between headline data, and a fully clean dataset that will withstand peer review. When you think about the various countries and jurisdictions the trial was completed in, you can easily imagine how this threw up lots of anomalies. It all needs to be absolutely watertight and that takes time, more so if you have a blockbuster set of results that's really going to upset the status quo and ruffle feathers with multi billion big pharma outfits whose sole objective will be to unpick and interrogate the data...
We are still well within the forward guidance issued by RM 'early 2022'. If we pass Q1 then I may see things differently but we are way off that at present.

Super, I doubt it’s LTHs selling. Usual trader churn from what I can see. Most likely the usual little run back up again tomorrow and we see what next week brings.
I should imagine most LTHs are dug in now and will not sell a dime til results come out, whenever that is.

The market is primed for a good therapeutic. If results are good, logic about multiples based on past performance goes out the window. All of a sudden, Synairgen swings open a multi billion pound door.

Pfizer magic pill results shifted their market cap by 20 odd billion. Merck magic pill results slightly less but still multiple billions.

Open your eyes to the market we operate in, and you can see the potential of the SP. It’s natural to be modest with our returns expectations, it’s a defence mechanism, but there are vast riches to be won on the global stage if our drug proves efficacious.

Skeletor, investing culture in the UK is generally very conservative. It’s why the NASDAQ is often touted as the promised land for companies in the startup/growth phase. There’s much more venture capital in the US, ans generally a better appetite for risk.

Once we get P3 this becomes a completely different animal. A new brand of investor will be attracted and eventually, true value will be realised. We’ve all done our research and feel very confident in our investment, rightly so I say. To the outsider looking in, however, upon cursory glance this looks speculative, and so the vast majority of UK investors are immediately put off.

Just my opinion but that’s why I think we are where we are, ans why we will still multibag in short order if p3 is good.

Surely a fund adding at this point, with no obvious large seller in the picture, would inflate the price beyond the current range?

That’s what you call a USP. I know this was causing some frustration with investors but now we have the green light things should hopefully move nicely along now.

SNG is a liquid stock with relatively high volatility, in a stage of its life cycle where wild swings up or down are imminent and expected. It stands to reason, therefore, that SNG will attract traders. Today’s fall is simply Friday’s buying correcting itself.

For reasons unknown to me, the market seems set on the concept of a Monday RNS. But you don’t need me to tell you how often the market is wrong.

It’s important to remember that traders and PIs are not playing the same game as one another. Disrupters are great at trying to convince you that their concerns are your concerns, usually along the lines of time running out or the fall being somehow cause for concern. Truth is, nothing matters until that readout.

How many variants will it take to convince you that catching a spike is not going to make a blind bit of difference to the long term prospects of this company?

Lots of posters seem wedded to the idea of it being a Monday or bust. I agree it is perhaps more likely to be a Monday, or certainly the early part of a week, but it could be any day now and I’m firmly of the mind that they will release the RNS as soon as it’s primed ans ready, regardless of whether it’s a Monday or not.

I think number 7 is key Welsh. It could be a wild day and depending on price action I could even be a buyer not a seller, there could be some real opportunities if it doesn’t go wild straight off the bat, though I guess it might.

Let’s hope we don’t have too much longer to wait.
