The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Considering we are getting results on Monday the volume is pretty pathetic. Looks like people have taken their positions already. I have a feeling that the SP already factors in the 1700 tonnes so not expecting too man fireworks on Monday. I also think we will not get an update on current production for a few days/week afterwards. Pretty miserable affair the whole FML thing. With so much in the hands of a few we are really at the bottom of the list of priorities.
Looks like someone definitely wants out. That trade at end of day spoiled what I thought was going to be a relatively good day. The large sells plus lack of news from Kazakhstan does not feel me with much confidence. Not sure why they need to release results on 30th. They are upto end of Dec so 6 months old - let's get them out of the way sooner rather than later BP - very frustrated and not feeing overly too confident
With the seller still around and lack of news from the BOD it will be a surprise if you do not get another chance The listing of AIM does appear to be just a pain in the neck for them - not sure what they gain from it and they certainly do not care about PI's
How do u explain the 2m sell at 16.05 at 0.92p. I would have agreed with you until I saw that Squeeky bum time
They have the 2013 results - we know they are not great so why not release them and get them out the way. Personally confident that things will start looking up once the results are out the way Just very dull continually waiting and receiving no news.
AliMarciano I think most holders from back then have probably topped themselves by now. It has been very frustrating. Those shares you were selling at 8p I was probably the one buying unfortunately. Anyway - I do think we are undervalued now and do see us sorting things out albeit slowly. It si not impossible that we will not see the likes of 8p again BP
Jascat, At least we know we must get an RNS in next few weeks. I am less optimistic that it should give the SP a boost - we roughly know what will be in it. 1702 tonnes(bottome of forecast) plus a load of scarey language from the auditors as per last year that scared the living daylights out of most PI's. TBH - I am not looking forward to these results( so much but more the current operational update - both 1st half plus forecast for 2nd half We are well overdue something and hope that newsflow will ramp up in 2nd half
Sounds logical 777 What would you be happy with as a full year production number based on 1700 last year?
Jascat - where was that info. I know where you get he total shares but where the no. Of shareholders. I wonder whether a Hargreaves or barclays stockbrokers conts as one as that seems low
Very boring this! Very poor we have heard nothing - guessing production so far not great but hopefully ramping up so an ok annual production is achieve able. Would hope for min 3500 tonnes this year based on 1700 last year. Anythng above is good plus preparation sorted so can continue through winter - I will then be happy
Production was already up and running by now last year. 1st shipment was beginning of June. I hope you are right but do not think any meaningful production yet or we would have heard about 1st shipment. Although they may not have told us but you would expect them to let us know if it had been positive
Well said. More worrying to me is that someone is sitting in an office in Kaz and must have looked through these photos and thought "this is what our investors want"!!!!!! If they have people like this it is very worrying that they are so removed from the small PI's. I would also prefer to see the copper loaded onto a wagon so at least it would suggest shipments are being made. Becuase they are not I would presume small production and 1st shipment yet to happen
Not sure I see the progress that evident. The photos I think are not much good without commentary. The copper could be remaining from 2013 production. The photos are unlikely to change much regarding the SP - we need to be told what progress/or not is being made Last year I think they announced early June 1st shipment so will be disppointing if we are not further ahead than last year regarding production
Next news may not be till 2013 results at end June. If this is case I think it is extremely poor effort by the BOD - we are well overdue an update. Not aware we know how any of the winter trials went for starters plus waiting 6 months for the 1st production update is not great and does not suggest they care too much about the small PI
Looks like people are willing to sell at any price. Have FML finally run out of life's? Would be nice to get an update before the end of the year!!
Super Understand what you are saying although not seen any trades below today's price for a while so on basis the mm's need to mak a profit assumed buys would need to be more Let's hope you are right and I am wrong
1.5m on the 10th plus 1m today plus few other 500k sells does not look great. Presume someone is offloading a few - maybe Dotcommie who posts on iii. Not a great sign though - the usual great transparency as promised by the FML board. Thanks a lot
I also topped up last week. The weather is warming up and believe production has continued through winter albeot to a slow rate. Hoping that rates should be increasing by now but how would we know. THe SP is where it is for obviousl operational mistakes but just as importantly due to lack of common courtesy in updating its shareholders despite promises they would improve. One example - we were told they were trialling foreced aeration - has this worked, surely they know by now so why not let us know.
Very positive. 1st target hit for years although very close but good to see they understand importance of hitting forecast Winter production all way through Baitimir cost few million just to support with no sign of revenue for many years. Benkala(incl South) will give them more copper than they can handle so Baitmir a distraction Pay off a little debt - gives financial security for next few years looking at debt repayments by which time higher production levels. Maybe some money to continue exploration at South B and get this proved up Just need copper price to turn
Just not very good at keeping their word. How many times have we been told that they will keep us informed? Does not matter who is in charge we are always told that they will start telling us what is happening. Very unprofessional - an update every couple of months/or newsletter cannot be too difficult SuperMonkay - I agree with offloading some assets. Realistically we will not see anything coming out of the ground at Baitimir for many years so it is just an unnecessary distraction. The rest of your points it would be good for them to update us - we are assuming all Year production but how do we know? We do not even know what the total production was in 2013 as last update gave figures till end of Oct. Also have they overcome the bottlenecks e.g. Clay, temperature that was leading to the poor production figures to date? Pretty poor really BP
