Spread is too large or else would go higher. Now 5.87 to buy 10k worth of shares - >10% spread.
RNS? Would allow RY to spout a more positive story tomorrow night. I can feel a positive RNS com8ng in morning Bp
Anyone give me an idea of the % lower than what has already factored into the numbers. Cannot see the SP moving much as thought low costs were already factored in unless dramatically lower
40p to 50p per share takeover Were in the sun at the weekend and caught sunstroke? The SP is down at 4p - why would you think that we would be taken over for 40 - 50p. Give me 6 to 8p and I am off and in other stuff
Yes - I also saw that and was confused. Lets hope you are right as not sure I could stomach a 12% fall
GlaxoSmithKline shares plunge on drug verdict
Quite a lot of cash though. That values the whole JV at just short of 40bn. Quick question - why is divi more secure when this is a cash deal? Cheers
No idea whether good price or not. Little bit of surprise tbh. Interesting to see what market thinks
Good RNS. Will help keep SP where it is until big news. Will look to add on next pay day
I am a shareholder but the attached is probably why it is worth keeping sums to can afford levels https://www.marketwatch.com/story/russian-stocks-are-cheap-but-thats-about-it-2017-07-21 Interesting article though
Holding up well considering RNS and good to see relative low volume. Thought we were in for a particularly bad day after the RNS - think a number of PI's have jumped ship leaving just the longer term loyal PI's Hopefully some positive news soon for a change
To be fair - the SP could still fall sinificantly and it could still outpace Woodford based on current performance. But in all seriousness I agree with you - from a SP perspective on its own without taking into account the divi
Shame we have been in a closed period for last few years. Preventing the directors from buying shares! Closed period my ****! Must be a reason why RY and the others do not buy. At last Proactive said that they were finalising a scheme whereby a certain % of their salaries purchased shares each month. That was 5 months about!
I am not very good at this game. The update last week seemed OK to me(I am not someone who can analyse to the minute detail though) but why the depressed state. Short interest at 6.8% does not help but plenty with higher. Two minds - average down or wait on sidelines. Rest assured whichever I do I suggest with my track record do the opposite
What is pension situation here? Is the Carillion situation spooking things A nightmare
Fish - I have those ones but went for 5 years so still have another 2.5 years to go unfortunately Bp
How is that a BUY - I have never been able to tell and always assumed would be matched with equivalent sells in any case
That is the point - it would not. Your shares will be turned into a share of the company - you will own xx% of the company which you can realise if someone bought the company or it was listed again in the future
