Legalwolf, this is a very odd situation whereby the bottom line is every poster here actually wants the company to do well and succeed.

Some can't take criticism of any kind towards the management / company.

Legalwolf according to their website Gordon Mccrae is still listed as a technical consultant, there were rumours before about him being the CEO in all bar name.

Riaan Lombard is not listed on their website.

Does anyone know if Riaan Lombard has actually left the company?

I know he stepped down as an ED but they were in talks of keeping him in a managerial role.

I've never believed in the 2Koz per month was possible and I still don't believe it. Projections are just a rough guess but I think it's more of an ambition than an educated guess.

I've run the numbers from the most recent quarter and a 20% loss from production to smelting processes would be acceptable but it came in at 49%, and there's less than 7% that has been attributed to being in the system.

BJ, We're all fairly intelligent people posting here and we should have a fairly intelligent conversation about the company.

There's really no need to try and discredit those I see who are posting here.

I know itsyou of old here, when they came across very informative and very positive about the company in the past. (in fact I blocked them at one stage).

People can have different opposing opinions and they can still bring things to the table.

This could be a really good informative BB, it doesn't have to be anything else.

I'd much rather know have a clear understanding of the Company as a whole, warts & all.

Plus I'm sure there's other potential posters who get put off from posting quality information.

Everyone's holdings is personal to them just because someone may hold more shares certainly doesn't mean they're any better than someone who holds less.

I've been 100% honest and truthful with my posts and quite frankly if people choose not to believe it that's on them not me.

There's only two reasons I can think of why a funder would have a seat on the Bod,

One is a joint venture partner and the other is that they have an increased concern of the investment potential.

BJ it's common for companies in financial difficulties, for funders and advisors to join the Bod.

It just shows the level of concern from the lending entity.

I've no problem at all if you don't want to engage, I'm here to talk about the company and no one else.

There was no mention of it happening in the original funding, this is a new development, like I said it just shows the level of concern.

Funders coming onto the Bod does show their level of concern they have in the potential investment some what.

A lot of people lost a lot of money here, myself included.

It would be nice to make some of that back and that's why I hold a retaining amount.

Since then a few directors have departed (not the one I would have wanted though).

After being caught, it's only natural to have a more critical eye on things and it's good to question everything.

There's people here who think the 2koz per month pipe dream will happen straight after the funding but they'll be plenty of time to increase as the rampers will be looking to depart.

The question of risk is down to whether they can get the funding over the line and it's not down to GCAT to make that decision.

There was a time when I thought this was going to 0.42p area but the debt for equity option wasn't utilised.

It went as far as 1.5p area and was bought into.

Agree yes, it's being bought up but I think there's a high chance of testing 1.5p at some point before news lands.

Around 1.4m shares the shorts increased. It's possible people are also trading this down too.

I not expecting any material news until September.

I thought they only increased by 0.14% (which isn't a massive amount) and the shorts can only sell once.
