I'm not saying what if any price would be offered, I'm just pointing out what's being said in todays press and what that would equate too. As far as I can see £2bn equates to a shareprice of £9.80

For a clear view of what's been happening, the month candlestick chart shows the compelling rate which the shareprice drop will be to 2013 support levels around the £2 mark inside the next month.

Secondly, I'm wondering what levels some investors here are setting their stop losses ? As the amounts of losses being claimed are totally unacceptable and totally avoidable.

I think it's been a good day for MCRO, the most it would have bounced would have been around 8%. The next two to five sessions will be crucial to the direction the shareprice will take. IMO

Yes 4% that's what is reported from anything over 0.5% but I suspect there's a lot more than reported most likely under the reporting threshold. News today that the net debt / adjusted ebitda rising to x3.2 and both revenue and ebitda falling YOY additionally the 20%+ fall in SP (with no bounce) definitely points to shorts at work.

I'm not expecting it too as it looks as being heavily shorted at the moment.

This share will be 125p before it drills. Fully funded for four drills with light sweet Oil Infront and behind our block and they can see the target resovoirs. The chances of success must be as high as they could be.

There's a bigger picture to what's happening here than the rock hopper acquisition.

In time , UOG will become main market share with main market assets and with a main market share price.
