Very good. I would like to see Lemur sold off, as coal doesn’t really sit well with renewable green energy.
I reckon there may have been something else in those brownies, just to maintain our positive thoughts!
Hi Numpty. Good decision I think. It is sad, as we all had great hopes for this 5 years ago. Myself, I sold all mine in March/ April last year, at a large loss of about £25,000. Still, I did exit with about £14,000, and if I’d held on, that would only be about £3,000 today. So disastrous decision by me to hold for so long, but I came out with something, which I managed to reinvest, and have done ok in last year with it. I keep following, when I see an RNS, and really hoped that all the LTHs would get some good news. The best RNS would have been JC leaving, as I really believe, the bloke is a conman with no conscience. He needs to look back at everything he has earned over the last 5 years from Cyan, and view it as daylight robbery from shareholders. Good luck all Longtermers. Please just salvage some of your money.
World's largest battery and car-charging network planned for UK https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2018/05/21/worlds-largest-battery-car-charging-network-planned-uk/
Great link Gambit thanks. The article it leads to, has everything, anyone new to VRFB technology needs to see.
Thank you Wolfman. Really good to see Investors Chronicle giving Bushveld a mention. I think we have all seen, and know the content already, but the key thing is it is highlighting to potential new audience. Can only be a good thing.
In the past, when we have a quiet spell like this, with a bit of slight drift down, I end up just waiting, knowing news will happen soon, and the upward path will continue. When it inevitably does, a few days or a week later, I always regret not topping up a few more during the lull. This time, I will be adding. I only have an extra 5k to put in, but in it will go, as I know it will be worth over 10k by the end of the year! I have looked, but still cannot think of a home, Id rather invest some spare cash for the next few years. Prospects just seem to get rosier with Bushveld.
Try using an ad blocker, FB. Does make a big difference.
Some very good tech info. Using the BRITS address.
I wish you all the best Nick. Totally understand and 100% agree with your strategy. I am same age as you, and lost my father to lymphoma 10 years ago. Found out too late why he was ill. So pleased you are in remission. Your investment will give you everything financially you deserve. Sadly no amount of wealth guarantees health, so make sure you do everything you and your family want to do.
Evening all. Found the page at last Happy tin mining in Africa!
http://www.tado.com/gb/ This is a German one who have app controlled heating systems. Can be retro fitted to most existing systems. Costs £249 or £6.99 per month rental. The rental is an interesting idea, as presumably the energy companies could bulk buy and extra monthly cost to customer would be minimal. This company have Deutsche Telekom as a partner, so see benefit of marketing the free app in conjunction with mobile network provider. This is still early days for JSJS, but what a potentially huge market, so a fantastic prospect, that I will continue to back for the long term. GLA
Interesting thoughts Larry. Google are well known for their lateral thinking regarding future business direction. Their business model seems to have proved far more successful than traditional Companies over recent years. I suspect you are thinking along the right lines regarding their reasons to acquire Nest. We will have to wait & see if their are other visionaries out there looking to sweep up JSJS for similar reasons. After BG disappointing this morning, maybe they need to be a bit more strategic with their plans. Re JSJS certainly staying put here at the moment, as this looks like the one in my portfolio that is primed for great short, meduium and long term growth. GLA
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25779937 Shame no mention of JSJS, but all good for awareness of the concept. Holding mine for a good while yet! GLA
