I'm out with my free shares if this gets within a whisker of £5, I just have a feeling that the house of cards will come tumbling down when the company cannot hide behind covid any longer. The SP looks like we're doing well.....but from the inside...... it's a different story. Nothing that the press haven't already highlighted, although it's more widespread. Letters don't matter anymore, its all get the parcels done, with the inevitable regards doing the letters. Can't go on like this for ever, under normal circumstances we would be getting fined hundreds of millions.

Masaimara, you are missing the point, that was when it had almost half as many shares in issue, in todays money that £9 is about £5. you should really know that if you are invested here.

£7 ,it hasn't been that for nearly 3 yrs, what makes you think with the massive debt they now have to service, that it'll be back at those levels anytime soon?

As I said, skirted over the lack of quality. Walks being left for days to be delivered , can't hide behind covid for ever. Normally there would be huge fines from the regulator, unless they don't know that is.

So...in the space of 10 months we've gone from a loss of £1m a DAY , to making £500-600m for the year! Either they need better accountants or be more truthful.

I'm neither a deramper or commenting with hindsight. I've said for weeks now that this should be about £2.50 . I'm no warren buffet so it may not get there, it's just where I see value if and only if a light at the end of the tunnel is visible. That is not yet the situation. A possibility of more funding needed , increasing debt and possibly dilution will IMHO see the SP slide down over the next couple of months. 50% of the 'new' bookings for the summer were booked and paid for last year, so no new money there. USA and cruises out of the picture until 2022 I'd think. I'm not holding, or shorting, just getting into the debate on here, mulling what we know over. One things for sure, if TUI survive until holidays are the norm again, it will fly. Until then, I'll bide my time. GL all.

I really hope your rose tinted specs come good on this one . I really do. I have a holiday booked for July but am resigned to not being able to go. I'm not in an age group that will be vaccinated by then. Free travel will not be available by then I don't think. Simple fact is, that if free travel europewide (USA will be off the table all year) is not here by August, more money will have to be raised.

That may well be, but last November, how many were booked for March, April? And are they going on holiday? Things change you see. People booked and people actually going are two things.

Re vaccine passports, how can you discriminate people with those who are old enough to have had the vaccine being able to travel ,while a 20 something will not be able to either go on holiday until november/december? or indeed pay for their own vaccine to be able to. This can't be right.

Granted but I still don't think you're going to be able to travel to Spain or greece from Belgium or Germany for example, for some time, with the speed or lack of, that EU vax program is going.

Also got to take into account that a good proportion of holidays booked this yr will be defered from last yr so in effect TUI will not get extra money from these (they've already been paid for last year). 2022 onwards I would say will be massive growth for TUI, from what price and at a cost of what debt, who knows? I'll be buying at £2.50-£3.00 . As always dyor.

Just as an example with ezj, TUI need travel borders to open up to properly start making money whereas ezj can fly in the UK , just for starters.

Windows, chill, if that's your attitude to investing you'll never win. Have patience my friend. All will be good, maybe not next week or month, but to sell bellow £3.50 at least would be crazy.

I think you should take kitale with a large pinch of salt. They don't even know how to express £50,000 , (50,000 grand, is actually £50 million!) They are either stupid rich ....or not rich. Work it out.

Aspers, deffo wouldn't pay more than £3 myself. Results ( which lets face it ,will be poor to say the least) , no holidays on the horizon yet for another 6 months (peak season wiped out) massive debt, will imho see this at £2.50 to £3 in a few weeks time. If it is and I can see a turn around in the prospects of being able to take a holiday, then maybe I'll jump in. Tui is a fantastic company but the fundamentals atm speak for themselves. One i'm keeping an eye on though as it's a given that people want to go on holiday. ATB people.
