Definitely Scapegoat FG. A trumped up reason for me. Every time a company receives a UKEF grant, it is getting an unfair advantage to its competitors. Scuppered by a government that couldn't even get the Rwanda policy of the ground, after spending £100s millions on it and now killed by a government that will waste billions on net zero. HARL UKEF guarantee wouldn't have cost the taxpayer a penny . In fact , it would have been a net contributor to the Treasury, by increasing employment and tax receipts. HARL has already booked in its £200m 2024 forecast, which will see it to break even this year. I see HARL succeeding and the back stabbing politicians eating their own words.
