At first, existing shareholders will increase their holdings and then the herd will follow. From nowhere to somewhere is worth hundreds of $millions.

I suspect BOTS_PROJECTS is American so won't "get it". I'm English and very reluctant to splash my money around (15m shares in TOM notwithstanding).

When the sweepstake was proposed we all thought we would be basking in untold riches - times change! If we end up with a decent return I might be shamed into donating to a charity. Somehow I can't see a decent return! And can I offset my donation to charity against 13 years of going nowhere? Only half-joking but the people who are so keen on charities are usually multi- millionaires where %-wise it's nothing to them. Is extrader a multi-millionaire? It wouldn't surprise me.

I'd certainly welcome a 30p takeover offer as it would get the ball rolling. That would value ZIOC @ £250m which is a fraction of alleged NPV. £1bn would equate to 120p per share which I think we'd all accept in the interests of putting it all behind us.

I think I understood your post but the company is in dire straits with mining suspended. However, it was oversold and any recovery should send the SP flying.

We are in the foothills of the mountains should it regain former Mkt. Cap.

i admire a man with ambition! good luck to him (and us) and i'm more than happy to remain a shareholder. i don't think there's been a company quite like this before . according to ii there was a ****-up with the warrants but they're working on it.

To be accurate, only one director has "significant skin in the game" - 5.05% of the company. The other four directors own another 2.06% between them. If ORR is so undervalued why didn't they fill their boots when the SP was in the doldrums? If I have faith in them turning me into a millionaire then why don't they share my faith in themselves? If there is a Lanstead overhang then four directors buying 20m shares apiece would help to clear it and inspire more buys from old and new shareholders who may well be thinking "something is just not adding up." ORR has always behaved oddly - accept it and trust in the fundamentals.

I'd be happy with 100p so 75p isn't too bad. On one occasion I think I predicted 900p! Shame I can't remember what I was drinking at the time as I need cheering up.

Driving - you completely miss my point! ZIOC may well be developed but there will be no jackpot for LTHs like me - hence 13 wasted years! The opportunity cost of being a ZIOC shareholder for 13 years is unimaginable. It's a lesson learned. After all these years I am 10% in profit. Will the SP rise 100% after the expected bumper announcement? Let's hope so - GLA!

The spread has miraculously shrunk! I sold a few and banked a 23% profit only to see the share I then bought plunge 12% the next day - I remain confident.

You may laugh but Warren Buffett's down 65% on his investment in Kraft Heinz. Only this week I bought a Heinz Mr Men Pasta Sauce @ £3 - it better be good!

It's always down to Geography! Ox-bow lakes never interested me and look where I am today! ORR could well be the next GGP but I suppose there will always be a discount applied. Maybe our best hope is a very generous takeover offer? Let a bigger company worry about the untold wealth.

Is it that simple? I wish I'd doubled my holding today instead of yesterday but I only paid 1.65p. Resources underground certainly dwarf Mkt. Cap. but there's many a slip twixt cup and lip. Even so, a 100% rise wouldn't hurt before they even buy the shovels.

I wish I shared your optimism, Driving, I really do! ZIOC doesn't often make a "bumper announcement" and when they do the SP soon gives up its gains.

How many disappointed jackpot-non-winners will sell up and move on whatever is announced? Yet another opportunity to pick up cheap shares by our overlords. Call me paranoid, but the wealth ZIOC represents is slowly being transferred from the hopeful to the gloatful. And there's absolutely nothing LTHs can do about it apart from vote with their feet. Which, obviously, keeps the SP down. 13 wasted years!

Somehow, ORR has stopped being a no-brainer investment and we're suddenly looking at how low the SP can go instead of how high. Painful when it's my largest holding!

"Stopping trading activity makes it more reliable in my view" - I thought shares were for buying and selling and any hindrance is not helpful.

SP currently 3.5% below what it was a year ago when Lanstead were supposedly a millstone around ORR's neck.
