Why are you bullish here but bearish about PETS? I'm not sure I can agree with Dabbler1 that "this is a high growth business with a high profit margin". How much competition is out there?

Agreed - KRS is very much under the radar. Your calculations ignore the price of Gold which, if MoneyWeek is to be believed, is about to rocket. They were right about investing in Japan and it's hard to see why Gold won't also meet their expectations. As for KRS, the sooner Togo is developed the better. Hopefully by not issuing billions of more shares like PREM. A JV with a Major Player would send the SP into the stratosphere.

I don't see much difference between investing and gambling. Both can make you a lot of money or lose you everything. Admittedly a gamble's a gamble when you're betting on dogs & horses while buying shares allows a bit more leeway. I think investing in SGI at the moment is High Risk but there's a much higher chance of everything coming up roses than the company going to the wall. 70-30? Is there intrinsic value? Yes - surely the brand alone is worth more than £5m apart from any other assets.

13-1 Buys to Sells today and one of them was mine. Reasons for buying: Oversold? Coins & Stamps will do well especially if the Stock Market doesn't? Mkt. Cap. doesn't reflect the value of the brand? Not that suitors were queueing up to buy the company... The guaranteed investment returns for stamp investors reminds me of Equitable Life and their guaranteed annuities - in days of yore with high inflation it might just about have made sense. What baffles me is the advert on TV for funeral insurance that guarantees you all your premiums back if they're higher than the sum insured. Whereas I can understand the Sun Life deal which offered a free pen in exchange for paying �thousands more than the policy would ever deliver. "You won't find cheaper cover..."!!!

Try looking at the actual buys and sells before believing the apparent spread! Sadly I bailed out yesterday morning against my better gambling sense. I was invested for 7 days and banked a 62% loss - not bad! I'm reminded of when I bailed out of Raymarine @ 1p and they were subsequently taken over @ 17p. Can't quite see that happening here but I'd rather lose �400 than �700.

Since I invested PVG hit a 52 week low and then bounced. Not sure whether to bail out or await further developments. Historically, my patience tends to run out not long before the SP rockets. I think I'll hedge my bets by selling half my holding.

Should've bought after it rose 24% - it's since risen another 32%.

I put NSCI on my Watchlist a week ago after reading about it in MoneyWeek and since then it's risen 24% - Grrr! I wonder why.

I decided to invest in "revenue generating pets" and here's why: 144m dogs & cats (and how many rabbits?) in the US and so far PVG has signed up 4k so plenty of room for expansion. PVG is doing OK in the UK & Europe where there's also plenty of room for expansion. �3m in the bank, a very low Mkt. Cap. and very few shares in issue. This reminds me of MYSQ in days of yore where a sudden increase in revenue would have a significant impact on the SP. DYOR.

Even with a placing LOGP still looks a good bet or am I missing something? From 10-bagger to 5-bagger is still 5 bags. And how about a joint takeover offer for PVR and LOGP? Pocket money for a major oil company and there must be �millions in previous losses that would make the deal attractive. To be honest, I just want to be out of here with a profit! I used to think my investment in LOGP would eventually buy me a house but now I'm thinking of a camper van. It would still be a decent return.

But they were very ambivalent! I think bricks & mortar retail still has a future but costs need to be slashed i.e. much lower rents and business rates. What's the alternative? High Streets with no shops?

Thought about buying the other day but didn't! With 79% of shares N.I.P.H. it doesn't take much to move it.

I'd be interested to know your reasons for selling if you'd care to share assuming it's GPX-related. If you sold for other reasons than simply banking a profit then please accept my apologies for intruding. GPX is my PF's Top Performer today and I'm hoping it has much further to go. I was interested to read today that 25% of US oil refining capacity is out of action due to flooding and the US is actually importing unleaded petrol. Makes me wonder if only one or two unexpected events would send the oil price over $100 again.

Currently # 15 Top Riser on very little volume. I recently added GPX to my Waiting For A Miracle ISA where it rubs shoulders with LOGP and ZIOC.

Can't agree with you - all vehicles need to be bought and sold! And I can't see diesel trucks disappearing within 8 years. And there's no infrastructure out there for electric cars to take off. Wireless recharging is the way forward but it will cost £billions. New Garden Cities will incorporate it and that's the only way forward - I look forward to another 50 Milton Keynes with adventurous architecture and not selling plots to the usual criminals/developers. We don't have to live like this.
