I love reading your calculations but, having thought �17 was optimistic, what am I to think of �81? I've belatedly realised that what's holding back ZIOC is Geographical Risk apart from any other surmountable problems. African countries and their governments are unpredictable and you only have to look at how Tanzania has wrecked ACA's SP. If there are �billions to be made from the ZIOC Project you have to ask how much of the loot the long-suffering shareholders will eventually see? Hence the low SP? Which means we should be eternally grateful for GLEN being in the driver's seat as they will drive a hard bargain. But when?

After noticing a sudden rise in volume I increased my holding by 88% which lowered my average from 25p to 21p. Hopefully the Commodities Surge will benefit ERIS - 60p by Xmas?

Sidneysideline: you only missed MinorMiner's endless yawn.... ramping. What actually happened this week was somebody paid over 14p for ZIOC during the Commodities Surge but it didn't last long. What must be puzzling other investors apart from me is why the SP isn't nearer 50p at this stage of the game? Very few shares in public hands + major players taking an interest shouldn't = 12.775p! I remain confident as ZIOC is my last hope!

Well, the future SP could be going to hit anywhere between 50p and 1200p. I hope everyone is holding their shares within an ISA so as to avoid CGT. For my part, I intend to use my ZIOC profits to buy shares in three or four Investment Trusts yielding 5% and find something better to do in my declining years! Although I suspect I'll still operate a small trading account but it's not about the money - it's to do with making the right calls. And getting one's timing right. Incidentally, I didn't invest any more money in ZIOC but I did sell 2 moribund holdings in order to double my investment in a brighter prospect which was among the Top Risers on Monday so that was a good call.

...and now we just need another 1000%. At the very least. I'm hoping for at least �2 per share and why not? Years ago the SP was �2 and there's been no dilution since. And these days high-quality iron ore is in demand. Logically I should sell my other 6 holdings and bung the lot into ZIOC. Maybe I will as my other holdings can't equal the possible upside of ZIOC. Only wish I'd bet the ranch when the SP was 1.25p.

Someone's buying shares so why no comment? Not that I'm complaining as there's more than enough squabbling about other shares I'm invested in to last me a lifetime.

I was looking at the share chart on Thursday and thought it looked ripe for a bounce. # 14 Top Riser on Friday must make me a genius! If only it were that simple. Biotech is out of favour but I think the tide is turning. 50p by Xmas?

I can only sympathise. I used to be with TDDirect who were taken over by Interactive Investor who are still offering a decent deal for Bed & ISAs. However, I'm not happy with having to do a Fill or Kill when attempting to sell a share that was # 1 Top Riser.

The "huge spread" is an illusion and why worry about fractions of a penny when the future will be denominated in pounds? Bed & ISAs tend to have very narrow spreads as the shares are "sold" and "bought" immediately and a decent broker won't screw you. Or charge you for two transactions.

Not very helpful! The Wall Street Journal link leads nowhere. Yes, the question is "Why?" and being patronising gets us nowhere. What proportion of your PF is invested in ZIOC? Silly question because that gets us nowhere too.

A good response but you also think the SP should be much higher! Mr Market knows best as always. Can't agree with the idea that ZIOC is being deliberately kept off the radar - to what end? Are any Investment Trusts invested in ZIOC? If not, why not? In today's Market value is hard to find so I'd expect some Institutional interest whatever the Mkt. Cap. I've noticed punters often claim a share is being "held back" but I've always thought they were just paranoid. Good luck to all of us! After a terrible performance by the other 7 dogs in my PF, ZIOC now constitutes 68% so I have a lot of money backing my judgement which is as it should be. I think one of the Zurich Axioms says if you're not losing sleep you haven't invested enough! I sleep OK but wonder how big the jackpot will eventually be and how long it will take to materialise. In the long run we're all dead!

Well done ChirpyCheep for doing your bit but since then there's not been anything to write home about. I'd be extremely cautious about investing in illiquid shares at the moment. Much like the spider in the bath it's very easy to enter but very difficult to leave! Only this week I wanted to sell 5000 shares in a company where the bid was supposedly 30p. No electronic quote was available and it took THREE Fill & Kills before I exited @ 29p. Later that same day someone sold 100000 shares @ 30p! And since then the SP has risen. It's always best to sell into strength.

If so, why is the SP where it is? I was reading in today's Telegraph about the # 1 ISA Investor who's enjoyed a 42,900% return since 1993 but I suspect that's very misleading. All the same, his PF is currently 60% cash but he's been investing in mining companies over the past year. I wonder if he's invested in ZIOC? Another millionaire ISA investor never invests in mining or biotech or oil & gas which are the only sectors I'm interested in! So that's where I went wrong...

You make a very good point. Lack of liquidity in this and many other shares has become a problem. You certainly wouldn't want to be a distressed seller in this Market.

I can see you're all working hard to keep ZIOC afloat but your responses don't make much sense unless we know what you're responding to specifically. MoneyWeek recommends investing in Commodities and mentioned BRWM whose largest holding is Glencore. It's a shame they couldn't also invest a couple of �million in ZIOC. The lack of Institutional Investors worries me if ZIOC really is a no-brainer which I continue to think it is. As the Management says, ploughing their own furrow for the time being should make the project more attractive to third parties. Hopefully Chinese with deep pockets.

Have to agree there's no logic. UOG up while PXOG down makes no sense. And what about SDX? Oil producer with a decent dividend to look forward to reminds me of PXOG if the Management can stop issuing shares and start delivering. Very occasionally a fortune is made on AIM but most companies are there for the benefit of the Directors not the Shareholders. Look at PREM etc. Can't help thinking Beaufort's demise has a lot to answer for when it comes to PXOG's slump. Sticking to Fundamentals indicates it's chronically undervalued but so what? There are hundreds of undervalued companies out there and they may well remain so. It's a scary thought. We are all living in bubbles and baked beans might prove to be the best investment.

Not interested. All my investments are down lately and I've experienced these doldrums before. It can be very depressing but if DYOR made ERIS worth investing in and nothing's changed then it's a HOLD.

After an uplifting RNS indicates a lack of risk capital. More fool them.

It's not just Shaun! After yesterday's RNS I was forced to contemplate cutting my coat to suit my cloth barring a very welcome intervention from the Chinese upon whom all of us LTHs are depending. Goodbye �2.184m and hello �100k over the next year or two which is not why I invested. ZIOC really needs to sell the project NOW while Iron Ore prices are high and rising. By the time they get to become a producer things could be very different. I'm just surprised the SP's so low considering the small number of shares available and the progress that's been made since the SP was �2. I remain slightly less confident.
