This week I sold 47% of my holding in KRS and banked a 26% loss. Still think KRS is undervalued but where does that get me? All my other holdings are in the same boat. Against all my expectations RRS hit a new 52 week low this week when I've always viewed it as a proxy for the expected price of Gold. Can't help thinking Gold's days as a "store of value" are long gone - times change.

RRS hit a 52 week low this week while Stock Markets plunged. I was stuck in a snowdrift twice this week and I wasn't thinking about the price of gold! I suspect its days of being a "store of value" are numbered. If they aren't then there's money to be made but count me out.

How long is a piece of string? I paid 25p which seemed cheap at the time so if the SP drifts down to 12p (which I don't think it will) I'd be inclined to treble my investment despite my aversion to averaging down.

�1.5k of Sells apparently leads to the Mkt. Cap. plunging �1.5m - unbelievable... Unfortunately, I'm reminded of the old adage "The Market can remain irrational for much longer than punters can remain solvent".

Thanks for all the positivity! Yes, KRS is 7% of my PF and PXOG is 6% and both have been very disappointing. I lost patience with GUN a few weeks ago and it's almost doubled since so I have a bad track record when it comes to timing. On the other hand, despite KRS & PXOG my PF is up 36% so far this year largely thanks to ZIOC & N4P. The reference to blood in the streets made me laugh as on Saturday I had a nosebleed in Waitrose which would not stop so I ended up in A & E!

Which could be a huge BUY signal judging by my recent losses of patience which tended to lead to missed future profits. We'll see. But why is KRS so off every punter's radar? Assuming the price of Gold rockets then attention will eventually focus on undervalued minnows so I'm very reluctant to sell but at the same time there are other opportunities.

But who can blame them? �2 by Xmas?

Early days and if the SP drops to a silly level I'd be happy to increase my investment. ERIS's appearance among the Top Fallers would've put it on a lot of punters' radar but anyone wanting to invest in electric cars will want to invest in Zinc and the rest is history.

...while PXOG goes down. And they're both invested in the same oilfield! Yes, I know that's the only link but it has to make you think. I've never been invested in a company before where the SP is so unconnected to all the good news. Let's hope the SP rises before my patience expires.

The Spanish Inquisition? I'm wondering why PXOG is where it is compared to UOG's recent rise. I'm a very disappointed investor.

I'm a MoneyWeek subscriber @ around �1 a week and it's a good read. I always thought a couple of good tips would more than pay for the cost of my subscription and they would have if only I'd invested!

Upwards! Suddenly the herd are about to arrive so we can expect fireworks. MoneyWeek keep recommending holding Gold and sooner or later they'll be proved right. But if you want to invest in Gold then KRS looks like the incredibly undervalued best bet. And only a handful of trades leads to it appearing among the Top Risers. Which would indicate a shortage of shares which can only help to get the party started.

Apologies for touching a raw nerve! Sorry. But I still view investment as not much different to gambling. If it helps I sold 33% of my holding in N4P @ 32.77p and banked a 267% profit in order to continue my investment in MTPH which has so far escaped the N4P euphoria. Rest assured I only ever bet on the Grand National and not every year. Good luck!

Wonderful RNS and the SP wiggled a bit despite so few shares in public hands and your best efforts! The Market knows best so stop making excuses. Attempting to differentiate between gamblers and investors is a mugs game. We're all here to make money. Despite today's muted response I'm fairly confident about MTPH. A bolder investor would sell part of his holding in N4P to cover his loss-making T + 20 in MTPH. In 5 years time I'm hoping both will be major players but what are the chances? Pretty slim.

Always sorry to read about topping-up a.k.a. averaging down. Think carefully before backing a losing horse - are there no better horses? Most books about Investment I've read would've had you selling a share at a small loss rather than entering Top-Up Territory. Who knows? Having invested in MTPH I'm showing a small loss and would not dream of increasing my investment. Even if it falls further I'm happy to hold in the hope that the �pounds will take care of themselves while the pennies are not worth worrying about.

Don't dismiss the usual BB herd! They're the ones who line your pockets if you can manage to trade successfully! I'm here for the Zinc and the Gold can take care of itself. Wasn't it interesting that during the recent Stock Market Plunge the gold price hardly moved? So much for all the crap that MoneyWeek peddles every week! Ditto Japan - how can an ageing economy flourish? Bring on the sex robots!

Stop being so paranoid! If you think derampers can have any effect on the SP don't bother to invest! I'm sure PXOG's recent non-performance is down to too many shares being available a.k.a. an "overhang". Anyone comparing PXOG's Mkt. Cap. with UOG's must conclude that PXOG is very under-valued or UOG is very over-valued! Or both are extremely under-valued? Even with a $70 dollar oil price ceiling there is still money to be made.

Everyone's asleep - normal service resumed on Monday. Extremely tempted to sell everything and invest the proceeds here as I'm expecting a 100% return within the next 28 days but I've been wrong before...
