Sorry, you lost me with "To make it more simple, ex cash theres still about 1.5x to ECR market cap, and I've no idea what that has to justify £10m+ (i.e. nothing)" - please simplify further!
Hopefully talks are ongoing but a For Sale sign would attract more interest! Curse GLEN's involvement! I just want to get on with the rest of my life! Without a jackpot I'm fooked! With a jackpot all my dreams can come true. Very sad but I've not bet the ranch on ZIOC yet! How ironic if I end up wishing I had!
Please educate me as I decided not to invest in UFO when it was 0.09p! Whereas I decided ORR was undervalued and invested only to discover every rise is sold into so I followed suit today and sold 27% of my holding but only to cover bad T+20s I don't want to close just yet. Obviously an amateur but I have 10 years behind me and still can't get it right apart from expecting a ZIOC jackpot which never arrives.
Rubbish! Cruising will be even more popular than ever as soon as we all learn to live with the fact that we're stuck with Covid-19. Lockdowns just kick the can down the road. Simple precautions can help fight the virus. Meanwhile life goes on and thousands die and life goes on! How would Johnson have dealt with the Black Death? 1346-1353 and somewhere between 75 and 200 million deaths. Of course, they didn't have the NHS in the 14th Century but it's only doing its best in the 21st Century which means people still die.
Well done DrRemington with selling some ZIOC to buy OMI. Only wish I'd sold some to buy UFO when it was 0.09p! Thought about it at the time and the rest is history. There will always be the ones that got away but why is it so difficult to force myself to buy once a share starts to take off? Maybe it's just me - I seem to see it as the ship leaving without me whereas momentum investors start ordering Ferraris. As for shaun86 - you sound very bitter like most LTHs. It takes courage to sell ZIOC just in case you're missing out on serious money. Such a shame that's been the case for more years than I care to remember.
"Might tell him to Chuck a grand in ZIOC if it drops a bit lower as he’s the same age as me so has time on his side." Please give all your friends the same advice and ask their friends to follow suit and we might get out of this hole! I've done my best with my millionaire friend but he'd "rather concentrate on my business". OK but he has £thousands of cash in an Investment ISA which is doing nothing. Stupid.
I was brought up to say nothing if you can't say anything pleasant (whatever that means). It's good advice and avoids all sorts of problems like why I'm estranged from my brother after criticising his wife. Apologies to loadsamoneeeey if I've misconstrued him but he's still objectionable! As for Flybyboy - glad you're being entertained! I do my best to attract new investors to all my no-hopers. Except this week my PF had its best week for 3 months but up 5.68% isn't really saying much.
The final "dozy" really hurt! :) What's the point of anyone posting? Agreed, most of it's verbal diarrhoea and I plead guilty! But it's also about attracting new investors which PXEN badly needs. And it won't take many to send the SP into the stratosphere.
I did read your post and realised most of it was taken from an RNS! What are you trying to say? You don't have to be stupid to invest in PXEN but it helps? You really must try harder! And why "No Opinion" if you think PXEN is worth investing in? During your absence the SP has risen significantly so I think your input is more a hindrance than a help! Regardless, there are only so many shares available and mathematics will trump both me and you. P.S. why do you feel the need to attempt to belittle anyone you useless waste of space?
"Because everyone here said it was *guaranteed* to go up!!!!!" is no reason to invest! Please read a few books about Investment before throwing yourself to the lions! And set a stop loss if you're so worried about HUR whose SP continues to plunge! Obviously I've not invested enough as I sleep very soundly - Thursday morning I didn't awake until 0941 which is most unusual.
I share your optimism but none of us are getting any younger! Shares in lieu of salaries is a HUGE plus which would refute idiotic claims about ZIOC being a lifestyle company. Besides, how many lifestyle companies have GLEN in partnership? If only one renegade Fund Manager would take the plunge the SP would be transformed. Why is ZIOC currently in barge pole territory?
Welcome back - where have you been? Please don't kill the golden goose by overplaying your hand! Overlong posts don't help the SP - punters are quite capable of DYOR but I have to admit many don't! A lot of them ask vital questions after they've invested. If only they'd read a few books about Investment first. I recently invested in IGAS where the BB is dominated by an entity who appears to never sleep! He probably thinks he's helping... Stick to fundamentals and you won't go far wrong (but you might have a long wait).
Bonkers SP at the moment but post-consolidation I'm expecting a huge rise. The cruises are the icing on the cake. Meanwhile SAGA offers financial services to a rapidly ageing population who trust the brand.
I'm sure successful investments anywhere but ZIOC won't dissipate LTH's bitterness but what does "less concerned" actually mean? You're still optimistic regardless of ZIOC's apparent lack of progress or ZIOC is not a major constituent of your PF? It's still my largest holding @ 38% but it used to be 80% - what was I thinking? I suppose it means I'm now "less concerned" too. But I still regard ZIOC as potentially the biggest multi-bagger in my PF. While I'm here, well done Sooty with RR. - the recent SP performance was extraordinary. I'm hoping for the same with SAGA post-consolidation.
If you're not confident why did you invest? I note you're also invested in EUA which has cost me dear after losing patience 6 years ago - now look at it! I calculate I've missed out on £168k! All of us can only do our best but losing patience probably destroys more wealth than anything else.
Are you losing sleep over your HUR investment? If not, you haven't invested enough according to The Zurich Axioms... I can't see you losing money if you bought @ 2.95p and regain your confidence - my average is over 4p which I thought would be history by now but WTFDIK?
