Pleased someone agrees with me - thousands wouldn't! As a pensioner and viewer of Minder each afternoon I can't help noticing all the over-50s Insurance Plans being advertised. Only one of them says your premium will stay the same - all the rest offer a "free gift" and rising premiums.
Saga could step in and offer a much better deal and bank £billions.

Yes, the shares are "pretty sticky" but the rainbow chasers will soon lose interest. I agree sub -100 is unlikely but I'm happy to wait or miss out.

The SAGA brand alone must be worth £hundredsofmillions as the world fills up with pensioners. Disappointed to see the SP sink this low especially as I considered selling @ 320p with the intention of buying back in cheaper around 280p. The financial side of SAGA is hardly ever mentioned but is ripe for huge expansion with none of the costs cruising involves.

As you say: "the upside is very high for this company" so why not place your bets and ignore mathematics?

I'm invested in LBE and it's been a very l-o-n-g wait! Keen to invest here but I'm happy to wait for the froth to evaporate. What price the SP 6 months from now if no deal has been done?

Nice problem to have! IMHO Zanaga is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and even if the SP's still 5p in a year's time it could be £3 a year after that. No FTSE250 company is going to give you that kind of return. And who's to say there won't be another financial crash? At the very least , rising interest rates should have a negative impact on share prices. You have to be in it to win it and I doubt there'll be an opportunity to sell all your FTSE250 investments in order to benefit from a ZIOC multibag. The possible rewards here are so huge I think it's worth allocating a large % of your PF to ZIOC and doing your best with the rest. At one point ZIOC was 80% of my PF but now it's around 33% which says a lot for how much better my other investments have performed! One of my favourite Zurich Axioms is: if you're not losing sleep you haven't invested enough! Good luck!

How big are your hands? If they're too fat you need to sit on them more often! It's far too easy not to see the wood for the trees when preoccupied with lowering your average by a few pennies. Incidentally, being £170,000 in profit is meaningless - percentages are what count. Reminds me of the old adage: how do you make a small fortune on the Stock Market? Start with a large one! Sit on your hands! More money has been lost by impatience than anything else. Not that that advice is relevant here - I'm very tempted to sell everything else in my ISA and buy even more ZIOC! If all LTHs did that we'd hit 50p in no time! And there'd be even fewer shares left for everyone else.

Be very wary of History repeating itself unless everyone thinks it will! Self-fulfilling prophesy etc. I think Gold is worth investing 20% of my PF in but I remain sceptical. ATM 10.76% is invested via ORR and ROCK.
As for topping-up ZIOC I'm already all-in with 38.5% of my PF invested in that dog! And currently down 33% but one day I'll be 3000% up! Any serious investor should have £1k invested in ZIOC just in case the fairy tale ever comes true.

Have faith! Mr Market often gets it wrong and 60p would be way below what the Zanaga Top Dogs are expecting. Trust me. Ha! Ha! Ha! Seriously, everything's been said already and a deal will be done eventually. The more the SP rises the closer the deal?

Endless rinse and repeat - hard to see how ORR will ever hit 1p ! Not even sure Gold is the place to be invested despite the endless printing of money. But there are always cheap gold miners and expensive gold miners.

Exactly! 100% upside from here surely? Why would their amazing profit margins be falling? It's a corner shop! Nobody weighs up shopping at Lidl or Aldi compared to McColls!

I'm invested in ROCK and ORR largely on the grounds that their SPs are more likely to rocket but I'm also interested in investing in GRL and HUM which I'm sure will do astronomically well if Gold eventually takes off. Unfortunately, I'm not convinced Gold will hit $50k - why would it? By then baked beans will be worth more and who will exchange them for something inedible?

...but surely a megadeal will lead to a placing which will mean anyone buying now will regret it? Alternatively, the megadeal is so wonderful punters are fighting to buy shares? I can think of several AIM companies worth taking over but I'm sure MUST won't be interested. Much better to do a deal with an unknown quantity or three where the hype trumps the hope which trumps the reality. Cynical? Yes.

You make an interesting point. Which reminds me of the numerous occasions where a seller's exit is supposedly the only thing stopping a sharp rise in the share they're selling! It always baffled me why they would sell knowing it would raise the SP but WTFDIK? I know the situation here is different and hitting 6p is cause for celebration (Babychams all round?) but I'm also 99% confident we can expect a £3 takeover offer fairly soon. £8 would be better as I've got my eye on a £1.85m Georgian Tudor Gothic property but I can always multi-bag my Zanaga profits (in theory). More likely to build my own ziggurat. Grand Designs Australia is my current favourite TV programme when I'm not plotting to rule the world.
So far nobody's built a house in the middle of nowhere for very little money.

Any thoughts about PALM? To my untutored eye it looks as good a bet as ORR!
