Yes, I got my sums wrong! But I'm relying on an ancient solar-powered calculator. Maybe I should invest in better technology but that wouldn't change my faith in ZIOC. I know it's pitiful but Logic will always prevail. However many years we have to wait except where's the sense? I know the top dogs are milking ZIOC but only in anticipation of future rewards. Or have I got that wrong too? Always happy to keep digging when we're in a hole!

This week I increased my holding by 2.6% and now I own 0.01% of the company. 300,000 shares makes the calculations much simpler! Whatever the takeover offer I will bank a profit but £8 is better than 60p. £8? Where did that come from? Bear in mind the very few shares available in ZIOC. If only there were 10m like LBE where I also increased my holding this week with difficulty. Mr Market is a very blunt instrument - follow your gut instinct!

Yes, I was also a SAV shareholder many years ago and banked profits. I was also a MoneyWeek subscriber before it went off the rails and their advice was "Don't touch lithium with a bargepole". I can envisage multiple billions of £££s being spent on an "electric future" before it is replaced by better technology. A bit like all those railway lines and stations built in the 19th century. Wasn't one station in London never even opened?

Does a £3 overnight charge really equate to a £50-60 fill at the pumps? Agreed, much lower maintenance costs initially but how about a few more years down the line? I envisage electric cars being scrapped several years before their ICE counterparts - how "green" is that? Apart from all the complicated electronics which make all vehicles far more scrappable these days.

Gets a mention in the Grauniad and punters pile in! I remain very sceptical about electric cars although I'm pleased to see the arrival of an electric filling station in Braintree. The new electric Fiat 500 costs £30k - hardly cheap transport for the masses. The post-2030 Used Car Market will be very interesting. If ZIOC ever delivers I'll be buying a Porsche Cayman and sticking it in the attic for 10 years and I'll be quids in! After 20 years it will be worth £billions if by then it hasn't been banned.

As informative as always for which I'm grateful. Still surprised every investor doesn't have £1k invested in ZIOC just on the off chance assuming the potential rewards are so wonderful. Does Glasenberg own shares in ZIOC? If not why not? Will we still be here a year from now discussing ZIOC? Hopefully not.

Someone invested £140k!!! I stand by my analysis - losing faith has cost me dear in the past but this time I'd be delighted to be proved wrong. It's all a game!

Seems sensible if you agree with me that KIST is overvalued and LBE is very undervalued. We'll see.

You make a very good point and I'm a LBE shareholder! It's the reason why I declined to buy KIST @ 107p which proved to be a bad call! I underestimated the herd's desire to invest in a fantasy. History doesn't necessarily repeat itself and I think KIST will have a much harder job to replicate RRE than punters expect. Sub-100p within 6 months?

ORR is certainly "unloved" - if it ever hits 1p I'll be pleasantly surprised.
As for RMM - I invested this week with extremely high expectations but it's still my # 11 holding out of 11.
Which bodes well - the shares I'm least confident about often excel.

No reason why they can't do even better than their investment in GGP. Investing in companies pre-IPO can also reap huge rewards.

Meanwhile in the real world, I view Glasenberg's exit from GLEN as a HUGE positive for ZIOC.

Warren Buffet (sic) would never invest in ROCK! If you have you have been outrageous and good luck! Keep ROCK as no more than 10% of your PF and you will either end up delighted or disappointed. Place your bets! It's either/or - ROCK is hardly a growth company unless they find something to grow the company. Not to mention the price of gold and copper has a huge impact on whether or not ROCK can be a successful investment.

Each to their own! I've read a lot of books about Investment and I would agree that limiting risk is important. But to me, all investments are bets as the future is unknown. If it were otherwise we'd all be millionaires. The investment winners bet successfully while the losers don't. But shares are better than horses because of their ability to plunge and then go up again - ROCK is a perfect example. Whatever your evaluation of ROCK it's a Very High Risk investment - place your bets!
