You make some interesting points but I think the smart money might be moving back into IGAS which is now ridiculously cheap. Only this morning there was a large buy and let's not forget that recently a Director thought it worthwhile to buy @ 14.75p. The move into geothermal energy is to be welcomed and could eventually be a licence to print money. As for being a day trader's share - not at the moment with so little interest/volume but that could soon change!

So you've averaged down on a company you believe will eventually deliver. Most investment books advise never to average down which is nonsense because occasionally it makes perfect sense. ZIOC is definitely a "holding and hoping" share and at the moment it's ridiculously "cheap". If only the bloke who spent £9.5m on a 1934 Bugatti was reading this... I can't get my head around spending so much on a tatty car! But I'll be happy to buy a new Porsche Cayman if ever ZIOC delivers and assuming I can get in and out of it - apparently it's a huge problem for an OAP to extricate himself from any sports car .

At least a 25p offer would open the floodgates - bring it on and I'd settle for £1 with GLEN still holding the extra share. Then we could all move on and hold Zanaga Investor Reunions for years to come while watching our mine generate $billions.

Thanks for your learned response which explains why we are where we are which is even more depressing! It doesn't alter the FACT that ZIOC is ridiculously cheap (but could get cheaper) and investors might need time on their side to fully reap the rewards. I'm 66 and I can't wait 10 years! Shale is not un-financiable as soon as oil prices rise which inevitably drives down oil prices. Which sort of puts a lid on the oil price. Still invested here but not expecting a miracle.

...ASDA being taken over has not led to MCLS rocketing. The buyers of ASDA have said they're interested in developing local stores which are far more profitable than superstores. MCLS has 1,400 of them!

I despair! When did Market value ever relate to anything? Look at previous takeovers where predators saw enormous value in the companies the Market was under-valuing by a huge amount. The gap can be considerable. £2 is not crazy talk and, many years ago, the SP was higher than that! DYOR! Since those heady days we must be the closest we've ever been to delivering true shareholder value. And bear in mind the BOD are in the same boat!

Didn't OilmanJim recently pronounce it "not expensive at £16m" and now look where it is!

Thanks to jv123 for his report. Last time I looked I was ranked 64th out of 14,526 players on FFM which would give me delusions of grandeur (but no cigar). Especially as my PF was # 1 on the Leaderboard at the close of play on Wednesday. Yet, in the real world, ZIOC is my largest investment as I believe the pay-off will be remarkable. Talk of a 25p takeover is ridiculous. It has to be at least £2 and possibly much higher. Yes, it's a waiting game (as Homer Simpson said after he bought a snow-plough) but the upside is astronomical from here. Buy now while stocks last could never be more true. OMI's recent rise was as much to do with so few shares available than anything else. ZIOC has always been a binary bet so punters selling out with huge losses even with the sub-10p SP is regrettable. You're either in or out/believe or doubt! Sheer poetry...

...I'd bought the bottom. Is the current SP a "buying opportunity"? Who knows? I would expect a bounce if the price of Gold rises but it's also defying logic. I think baked beans will be far more valuable than Gold during the last days.
