and as expected their analysis is showing that 100% of their clients holding TRAK are holding long positions

Typically indicates greater volume, liquidity and activity

The good thing is that TRAK typically goes up as fast as its comes down. Hoping that it rings true over the next few days

I believe that Odey took the shares that FIL sold when they reduced to 3.63% at the end of September - the numbers add up when you look at how much Odey increased by to take his holding to 19.02% announced 30/9 Did he take the circa £5m shares to take them out of circulation in order that further substantial short positions could not be opened? Is he selling down and rebalancing his portfolio to provide liquidity facilitating the shorts exit? Looking at the big picture?

I should think that Odey is looking at the big picture

Odey has held on average approx. 13/14% which then increased to dramatically to 19.02% at the end of September The fact he has marginally decreased to 17.94% is not a concern to me particularly as I suspect that in part any selling by Odey is taken up by those holding substantial short positions hence aiding Odeys long term goal as a holder with a long position. December is nearly upon us......

with reasonably large shorts in play, anyone looking for a long entry point might want to keep an eye on the FCA short selling spreadsheet over the next few days unless you're taking a position with a mid-long term view.

Gcoffey - it's abundantly clear that your stance is somewhat negative towards Talk Talk and that's fine by me but I can assure you that there are plenty of household names trading with less than adequate security - I agree that security is an ongoing, ever evolving process but not every company invests the appropriate amount of time and money in securing consumer data hence Talk Talk are not alone

Eminence notified the FCA on 5/11 that they had increased their short to 1.9% from 1.65% H1 interims out next week plus TALK announced today that the hack had less impact than first feared
