As K3 might say 'no offence' as you are entitled to your opinion however on this occasion my money's on Crispin Odey winning the battle between the longs and shorts.
He's continued to plough money into TUNG.
Is he averaging down to get out with reduced losses or is he looking to maintain his credible track record and make ££££???
Hamm - Thanks for your timely observation
It's worth remembering that with DMA, L2 is not always as it seems. What appear to be flurries of sells may actually be buy trades.
Watching L2 over the last few weeks has been interesting to say the least with the manipulation and apparent subterfuge behind the scenes allowing those holding short to slowly exit with generous profit
K3 - the 49,999 was a single order on the bid. The total sum of the bid at the time of posting was approx. 76k
The holder of the 49,999 order is managing to slowly get people to sell to them for 35p
If Tung were to fail it wouldn't look too great for Edi Truells reputation in the city and government so with this unlikely scenario coupled with the fact that I know people who have successfully implemented Tungsten globally realising their desired benefits I doubt Tungsten is going down any time soon plus if you factor in their cash balance its even more unlikely.
Tungsten is another Amazon and Ocado - it takes time and money to develop companies that create change, particularly for those that attempt it on a global scale.
If this is true capitulation rather than normal shenanigans then we might have just found the bottom but with TUNG anything can happen and although today's volume was quite large It might not have been large enough
It's possible that we might have seen FIL make their final exit today.....
dduck - I'm of the view that the price action of late is a means to an end. The disclosed short positions have clearly been reducing albeit slowly and we have not seen any rinse and repeat action for some time so I hope that the shorts continue to reduce and move on to another target
about the short term price action, in fact at these levels one would hope that those of short persuasion might be inclined to close at a slightly greater rate than we have seen lately
