This drip of pretty pictures from Saltfleet reminds me of the staggering growth of LGO and the commentary of honest John ... the tank is on order, we have a new valve. All proved to be total BS. Moral of the storey, do you research h and, sadly, never take company statements at face value in the AIM market.
Push2 I have to respectfully disagree, as a professional in the planning field, by law the decision to be made by the Inspector has to be based purely on the facts relevant to the appeal proposal - policy, site consideration, proposed operations on the site, potential impacts and proposed mitigation. Taking into account anything else runs the risk of judicial review by any of the interested parties, including Angus.
My money is on an overstretched, under-funded Inspectorate (PINS) - I have an ex-colleague and friend who is an inspector and from what he has said, it's been 10 years of cuts and failed IT systems!
The latest stats from PINS for the 12 months until the end of August 2022, they had received 21,704 appeals, and made 17,519 decisions, with the FTE of 335 Inspectors.
Looking at the Planning Inspectorate page for the appeal, it is somewhere between the "event date", being the site inspection by the Inspector, and a decision by him/her. It is normal for the date of the site inspection to be published on the web page, but probably because of the potential for protestors it has not been publised.
Once the appeal is in the hands of the Planning Inspectorate they run the show regarding timetables. The appellant has little control over these. I suspect its more to do with delays in Inspectorate organisation which has been common for several years.
well, one thing is clear, the MM's are making money with this yo-yoing of the SP while they can.
In the preamble to the piece, "it not as if you are saying this is a terrible company [AMC] that's gonna go under, like its UK competitor Cineworld. Its just that it [AMC] is over valued".
Completely different situations.
During lockdown Jim Crammer on CNBC referred to the users of Robin Hood app as "gamblers" as hopeless stocks soared and crashed 24 hrs later. This mentality isn't isolated across the pond, the difference being while there are gamblers, this stock has so far headed south with II's jumping ship as a result.
Gentlemen, the writing is on the wall in 6ft high capitals, in red, white, and blue; triple underlined.
Sadly for me, I have been locked in here since the days of "Honest John" and his bare-faced lies. No hope of seeing even 1% of my investment being returned on this SP. Every expensive lesson in my early days.
You only have to look at the value/number of shares being bought in each individual transaction to realise that to swallow up the Polaris stake will take weeks, if not months!
Seeing that Polaris passed the threshold on 19 August and filed the paperwork today, are other II in a similar situation? Only time will tell to be honest.
No fidgeting on the seats and waiting to see.
