Well done to those who held on after last week! I regret selling on the dip now and really didn't expect to see a HUGE rise today! Just goes to show that the panic caused by TW's broadcast was very short lived. Confidence seems to be coming back so soon ... Well sadly I didn't get a chance to buy back into the rise today as I was stuck in work and besides I was rather waiting and hoping for some reassuring words from our man Ivan. I think I'll now wait for news before taking the plunge again. The price will be higher but the risk will (or should) be lower, with the right news anyway.. GLA
I've sold out too. Only time will tell whether that was the right decision. If Ivan releases an RNS officially disputing TWs claims and reassures investors then the tide will turn quite rapidly in INCs favour. I , for one, would be tempted to buy back in.. GL those still invested. Will be interesting to see what happens next.
Likewise, any worries I had of facing a high CGT bill this FY have now evaporated with the various losses I have to offset the gains!! Sorry Mr Taxman you're not getting anything from me this year.. LOL. I need to park this one now, but I do wonder whether previous realisation of this news on Ramsden was behind (A) TW's rather unexpected Sell advice on INC that he published on HotStockRockets back in Feb (everyone thought it very odd at the time)., and.. (B) Cairn resignation .. ?? For me it's all academic now as I've already bailed. Big disappointment and bit gutted today as I had high hopes for this one originally. Well we've not actually given IC an opportunity to defend his position yet, be interesting to hear his take n the situation.
TW's commented on this fiasco just now (on share prophets) when asked why he hadn't checked INC out properly before recommending the stock as a "tip of the year" - TW: "We were led to believe that he (Ramsden) was out, had no shares, no involvement. He appeared to have no involvement in Inc – it is the Canadian ops where he is linked. I suspect there may be well hidden links back to Inc but they were not obvious to us at the time. Nor are they obvious now"
It appears Ramsden has past history of association with INC (2010 article - Insetco Is Not for Me Says Lucian Miers). http://www.iii.co.uk/investment/detail?code=cotn:INC.L&display=discussion&id=7367042&action=detail >> In May we were told that $2 million of revenue was on the way “within the next three months”, .. Sadly by August it had: “…become clear that structuring and implementing these and other policies will take considerably longer than originally anticipated. Consequently, revenues from fees for these services for the current year will be significantly lower than previously indicated”. Part of the reason for this delay may be that Dematco, upon whose know how and software Insetco relies to package its policies, seems to have disappeared without trace. It is no longer quoted on nasdaq and its majority owner, convicted fraudster Terry Ramsden, is rumoured to be hiding out in Canada from the people who put money into Dematco (a slightly unconventional mob, I am informed). <<

Having listened to the TW broadcast and realised what's actually going on behind the scenes (all quite shocking), I too have decided to bale out - reluctantly as I've now lost a fair sum of capital. Holding on after hearing the "facts" of dodgy associates etc, just doesn't feel right. This was a really bad punt for me, hopefully I will learn from this :)
sms: yes indeed that's the reassurance that many of us have been waiting to hear. It's very much a waiting game this, but good to get the update from the BOD as now we know we're still on track and Ivan remains hopeful (and patient!) of DD being completed satisfactorily. I'm glad I didn't sell out earlier, in fact I topped up on the low :) GL holders.
Few buys going through after the progress update RNS and yet the MMs are still holding the SP down. Will they ever play fair ?! Answer = No, of course not :)
Further re: Agreement for Services The Company advises that, further to the update of 2 February 2015, its partners are still conducting their due diligence into the life settlement polices which may be subject to the orders. Accordingly, the Company has not started to provide its administrative services to its partners and is yet to receive the expected respective payment of $300,000 due on completion of the orders. The directors remain hopeful that its partners can conclude their due diligence satisfactorily and will update the market further in due course.
What a crazy sell off this morning. No way I'm selling at 50% loss. So there's going to be a broker change. Okay but why the panic? Tempted to buy more. HL asking 0.065 just now. Good risk v reward punt here IMV. Great entry price anyway.
Well news looms anyway, whether it's good or bad, only time will tell. If the DD activity had already collapsed then INC would've been obliged to report it already. I haven't given up on this one yet. A lot of impatience in AIM !!
SMS I agree. I've contacted the company and will post here if I get a reply. Meanwhile, from 02 Feb RNS - "completion of these orders has been delayed due to extended due diligence by its partners into the policies subject to the sale and satisfying compliance procedures in multiple jurisdictions. The Company has been informed by its partners that the requisite due diligence is nearing completion and the compliance procedures now met. The Company will update the market once these first orders have been received." Clearly a longer delay than IC was expecting and a further update soon would be good. I'm still invested as I believe the contracts will come in due course..
Chris Potts has 85 Million INC shares - now there's confidence in this company to deliver on its promises. Hopefully news shortly and patience will be rewarded. GLA
From Director's talk, 16 March, Tim Adams CEO Rame Energy chats about it’s Cerro Bayo off-grid wind project, details on Anden Re Capital and the 5 year PPA. See link - http://www.directorstalkinterviews.com/interview-with-tim-adams-ceo-at-rame-energy-plc/412660372
INC is a recovery play. It's too early to be casting rash judgement on it just yet. I personally believe they can win the contracts they're seeking or I wouldn't have invested here. http://www.insetco.com/about-us.html
TW has posted a new update about INC on HSR this morning, after much delay. He retains the same stance as before though but with no reason other than contract delay. This was one of his tips of the year and he's certainly not impressed with the way he's been 'guiding' his paying clients! He's promised a new tip soon.. hmmmm!
From SP article: "On its first contract Insetco will have earned $300,000 upfront. And it will earn another $300,000 over five years – so $60,000 per annum. Insetco earns a gross margin of c66% doing this work and has PLC costs of c£250,000 per annum. So if it can secure 1.5 contracts a year of this size it makes a small profit. Make that four orders a year and it could easily be making £500,000 clear profit and this company has historic losses of c£43 million which we believe means that tax will not be an issue for many a year so profits to cash conversion should be almost 100%. Conversations with management lead us to expect a string of orders in Q1 2015 and that should put flesh on the bones of forecasts. Some supporters reckon annual profits could well exceed £1 million within a year or so. On a PE of ten that would imply a share price of 0.7p."
Arrival of this first contract would provide a boost to investor confidence and act as the trigger for other contracts to follow .. in essence, as stated below by tomus. Investor buying is often due to sentiment and foreseen potential growth rather than current value .... IMO
Would be good to see the rise continue from here .. when the "imminent" news on the 300k contract lands, this is going to fly for sure.
