Just a 50,000 sell showing AH on ADVFN, would be good if the seller is finally running out of steam.

Portage expected to significantly re-rate when the uplisting to NASDAQ happens, which is due in near term, could happen any time in fact.

Portage valuation in financials was $16 per share, yet is currently trading at around $10, and this is before any news has been released on the portfolio. I'm expecting a significant uplift from $10, wait and see.

From a google search ... It generally takes 4-6 weeks to process a listing application to NASDAQ.

This time frame is variable and may be shortened considerably, if the application raises no issues and the company responds to staff comments.
Week 1. Company submits application for listing and NASDAQ listing Qualifications staff begins its review.
Week 2-3. Staff completes its preliminary review and prepares comment letter.
Week 3-4. Company addresses any issues raised by staff.
Week 5-6. Staff completes their review and company is approved for listing.

So for Portage, the uplisting to NASDAQ should be imminent. I believe they are using MARCUM LLP as auditors and advisors. NB. Marcum is one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms in the US.

Like Matador I'm also with Fluid3d here, as his post sounds closely aligned with my views after that RNS.

I too was a bit surprised at the news at first, but hope it will turn out to be a positive move. It certainly presents new investment opportunities for FFWD and for Ed to influence how the future FFWD portfolio shapes up. A move away from illiquid unlisted private equity stocks would be welcomed and should help to value investments more fairly. Why would the CEO/Board have changed strategy if he/they didn't believe it is in shareholders' best interests?

Like others here I'm keenly awaiting a monetising event such as Leap sale/IPO etc, but as shareholders we cannot influence when this happens. I also topped up today as I saw the drop as an opportunity but just a mere 5k shares, as that's all I had available unfortunately.

Well this RNS was necessary because of the recent price drop. It's reassuring as there is clearly no bad news causing the recent fall. Rumour of placing quashed. Total cash of 2.25 million, so much for all this imminent placing scaremongering which had been spouted elsewhere.
Good to get this RNS, everything remains on track. Clear reassurances for shareholders, in the face of the recent onslaught from those who have been trying to attack this fine British company.

On message boards elsewhere there are various theories around why the SP has dropped this low. If there was any bad news then there would've been an RNS. Neill Ricketts has been silent on Twitter which could suggest a closed period?

I have copied one theory below (as an example) -

- the share price is being moved down by very small volumes of PI driven sales as there are no major buyers until major news gets announced. If i am the only buyer of stock and you needed to sell then i can name my price hence downwards trend.

Wildone - I see you used to be long in VRS back in June 2018 when the SP was 127.5p.
Out of interest, why are you asking about negatives? Seems a bit odd.
Personally as an investor I’m more interested in the potential here. The main negative currently is the big drop in SP, which you could look at as a positive, if you’re thinking of buying. Seems overdone to me, the likes of TW & co have been up to their usual dodgy mantra.

Primary Bid offer at 145p massively oversubscribed in Sept 2018 and that was at an 18% discount when the company was at a lower level of maturity.
Since then the company has grown progressively and commerciality phase approaches.
All that progress made is no longer priced in, it's now completely priced out. 75M MCAP simply does not reflect the potential here.

I did 3 top-ups today to get my average down. 50p is a steal in my view, this is now very oversold, seems unbelievable value given the progress made by Versarien in the graphene space. We will be looking back here later in the year with disbelief that one could buy Versarien shares so cheaply. I reckon patience here will pay off for those who are prepared to ride this turbulence out.

It's so easy to be led by the detractors and doom/gloom merchants who plague these boards. These types are everywhere right now - LSE, advfn, twitter, all repeating the same distorted mantra over and over.

So many good reasons to be/stay invested. At the end of the day, nothing has changed only the shares have got really cheap. It's a buying opportunity, not a selling one!

One thing that interests me is why do some posters come onto a BB for a company they're not invested in and repeated post negativity? Perhaps they enjoy watching others lose money - sounds like a sort of insecurity to me, not something I'd do anyway, what's the point? (unless you have a short / spreadbet to get the SP down maybe).

SOH already has plenty of skin in the game. He is the largest shareholder with over 10 million shares, representing 11.8% off the company. As CEOs go, that's already a substantial holding.

Listen to SOH podcast. £1 million revenues forecast this year, 2019. Hockey stick coming into play, it's been a long wait but it's happening. You won't get a chance to buy down here again, IMV.

Yes maybe it's too close to final results for them to buyback. With the £339,500 from Vemo sale, they could potentially buy (up to) 3.5 million shares.

I believe they are more likely to use available capital for buying more weed though, happy with that given that's where they see the most potential. High hopes for Emmac, just wish we had a bigger slice.

The buyback scheme was over a year ago, shares were bought back at 17p-18p and at that price the BOD considered this to be good value. Pity they aren't buying back now at 7.5p.

MCAP is now less than £12 Mill, yet Leap or Factom could easily be worth that on their own. We should see a re-rate at some point, seems very oversold down at 7p.
Anyone buying down at these levels and willing to hold, will do very well IMO.

This Greenland Government publication provides the following update on BlueJay progress-

"The project progresses rapidly towards an exploitation permit with submitted Terms of Reference for the EIA and SIA. "

I'm inclined to believe the Greenland Government on the true facts over the amateur shorters' made-up blogs.

The attached is the Greenland Government economic report for 2018, published this month. Pages 11 and 12 are of particular interest, listing " the most well-advanced mineral projects, which have either secured or expect soon
to be granted an exploitation permit. " ...Guess who's included in the list, with application for exploitation permit expected in 2018?

Contrary to the anonymous "expert" quoted in TW's drivel, it sounds to me as if the Greenland Government is pretty positive about development of mineral resources. They say "An increase in exploration activities - and more importantly - exploitation activities is imperative for achieving economic independence."
