It is pretty unusual for a BOD to argue against buying shares in their own company. The reason was and remains as bizarre to say the least. Putting aside restricted periods and insider trading if the BOD believed their own ‘vision’ they would have been filling their boots at 5p, 4p, 3p and certainly 1.95p. Them not buying only gives out one message which I have learned too late I.e. ‘its way too risky for us’.

Sonic -Agreed. It is very disappointing whichever way you look at it. LC has not managed this at all well. We currently have a load of attractive projects lined up but with no obvious funding route which is not very clever. We were led to believe that SEPCO agree with the vision and are on the journey with us. That certainly does not appear to be the case.

The twitter activity is pathetic in the true sense of the word. It is totally pointless. We have major issues with funding which I am sure are not going to be solved by someone stumbling across our tweets.

We have the negative of SEPCO delay and the positive of LC actually sounding like the company might have some backbone and mentioned potential other suitors. I am surprised the former has not trumped the latter and the SP dived. When are the company meeting? When will we hear?

We don’t need to speculate regarding SEPCO. As at the second deadline of 30/11/2018 they still did not wish to invest. That’s just a fact.

JD - LC must have some responsibility for something when it comes to commercial relationships. The ToG are wrecking the MCPP and now SEPCO are joining in at KIBO Energy level. We just need GE to start playing up and we have a full set. LC needs to manage these relationships way better than he is.

Just for clarity .005p is 5/1000ths of a penny. I think you mean 0.5p. I think that it overly pessimistic and any fundraising at this level would decimate current holders shareholdings.

Is the time for LC to earn his considerable income from such a small company. He can reasonably argue that there is nothing he can do about the GoT’s shenanigans but SEPCO are a ‘key Partner’. Our relationship with them has been shouted from the rooftops for a considerable time. It ain’t much of a relationship if they want to behave just like the GoT. This latest delay is pretty unimpressive from LC. Our relationships with all key players are being shown to be wanting and that is his key responsibility. If they now need the SML and/or PPA we have all been led up the garden path. This just runs and runs and runs. We all know that the end of the week will come and go with nothing new. It’s a complete farce, I refuse to crystallise a 65% loss but I wish I had never heard of KIBO.

Of 2 months would make no sense. SEPCO have had more than enough time to do their due diligence on KIBO and it’s projects. There are no significant milestones in this timeframe (opening of tenders certainly is not significant). Either SEPCO literally buys in to the vision and the potential or it doesn’t. It’s time for action not further procrastination.

Now in Beijing so KIBO has all day to write and deliver the RNS. We should know something by end of play. It’s either yes at price X, delay for X period and reason why or not happening. Either way it should take about 30 mins to write it (or 2 mins if it is as grammatically incorrect as usual).

Capo - read my email a bit more diligently. I say ‘1.9p buy-in can’t happen’. It’s disappointing that FE include it at this SP. I am aware of ‘impending’ MCPP SML which then leaves a gap until Q3/Q4 before tender PPA and FC. Bots has
12 months of no significant events after SML but Moz apparently all happens next year.

My main take from this is that we have a whole new set of dates and apart from SEPCO buy-in (at 1.9p) there are no real short term value creating milestones. Possible exception is SML but I am not convinced that it will do much to the SP. 1.9p buy-in from SEPCO just can’t happen because the £2m cash is just a drop in the ocean for the 3 projects. FC for MCPP in Q4 is hard to swallow particularly as we know if this is the target date we can add on at least another year. It’s still a very long haul.

Assuming current 640m shares means an additional 112m to give a 15% share of the revised total of 752m. 10p therefore raises £11.2m etc. I would have thought that we need something around that level to give us a run at the other projects plus MCPP through to close next autumn(?)

As their delay was a key contributor to the current SP it would at least pose some uncomfortable questions.

It would not be a vote of confidence but a cynical piece of opportunism.

84yds. It really isn’t bothering me. I was merely pointing out the ‘bleeding obvious’. I am chilled. I won’t be happy with 1p if it comes but I won’t die. I too don’t do twitter and have had no desire to join the group. The members are, of course, welcome to enjoy it.
