I disagree 100% JD. LC has obviously completely run out of steam. He has no worthwhile relationship with the GoT who have treated him with complete contempt. The same can also be said for his wonderful relationship with SEPCO who have also shafted us in recent months (and continue to do so). He has either kidded himself over the other ‘$750m’ assets before giving them away or is totally incompetent. His communication skills are non-existent with almost every RNS being totally confusing. He refuses to speak to or face shareholders. He has changed the ‘strategy’ on a whim without taking shareholders along with him. He has talked in numerous occasions about ‘other interested parties’ and we have never seen any evidence of this. I could go on but I don’t think some are willing to listen.

Biggest problem is that we appear to be somewhat leaderless.

The good news is that although things could still get a lot worse (1p is certainly not out of the question) we are still in the game. I obviously wish well to those still adding. If their confidence is proved to be well placed we will all be winners.

I asked yesterday about LC’s shares as it’s important to know if he has any real skin in the game. That is any of his actual own money just like us PIs. If he has the SP will be hurting him too. If he hasn’t then it’s just another day of pulling in his substantial salary (substantial by any standards let alone for a tiny failing AIM company). Contrary to others on here I believe his ability is wanting on a number of fronts, most importantly judgement and communication. The SP is on its way to 1p and LC has nothing to say. Where is the Tanzanian SML, the Bots licence, the tender process, what are SEPCO waiting for?

LC will have no difficulty keeping quiet for as long as it suits him. Hiding away is certainly one of his specialities. He will square it away by saying he has nothing to tell us and therein lies the problem.

So more general question - Is there an actual tender process beyond the submitting of tenders?

So what happens next with the tenders? And when?

I am just pleased LC is not out of pocket. Phew. God forbid.

JD - the personal bit is questioning my investment decisions as you seem to think that is a get out clause I.e. I am here therefore I must think everything is great. That’s a ridiculous supposition as it means every investor at any given moment in time is happy with his or her investment. SYM I am bored on the train journey into London and replying to a point made earlier regarding vision. If you don’t want to join in please don’t but don’t tell me what I could or should be saying or doing. Not being happy with a comany’s performance is completely acceptable and doesn’t merit you coming up with the usual ‘moaning’ ,’whinging’ tosh.
