I never ceases to amaze me that we have a deadline of 30/11 and the earliest we are expecting news is next week. All of our ‘deadlines’ are actually ‘very earliest possible’ dates.

Its a positive if it means it is an obstacle removed to allow the SEPCO buy-in to happen. I will be as annoyed as anyone else if the buy-in is delayed again but after my initial disappointment I will be happy to know that e.g. it is still happening before the year end. Having said that I am still very hopeful that we will receive some positive news in the next 5 working days.

Although I try not to kid myself,f I obviously do like to see positives where they exist and I genuinely think today's news might be the biggest positive sign we have had for some time. Here's hoping.

Dave - I am only teasing. I really don't have any interest in Katoro whatsoever as I think I will be long gone by the time it does anything of note.

I think we just sold 45% of a $750m asset for £200k?

Don't we own 55% of Kat so any major re-rate of KAT from its current market cap of £1m (incl. the $750 Haneti Asset) will reflect in our SP? I am not holding my breath.

I readily accept that there has been very little LC could do regarding the ToG and its lack of business nous. However when it comes to SEPCO this is where LC should be capable of making things happen, i.e. convincing them that they should invest in KIBO Energy, invest now and at the right price.

and just to clarify, another 6-9 months on an original, second, third or fourth timeline would be nothing. Its just when you have been expecting some advancement on particular fronts for the best part of a year or 2 and we are now talking about another year.

Sonic you could well be right but WOW another 6-9 months!! It just runs and runs.

To be fair KIBO are pretty good at keeping a tight ship when it comes to news.

Sonic. It’s the period between now and F.C. that worries me. That’s why I think SEPCO buy-in is crucial. But maybe LC has other alternatives rather than placings (whether they are called that or something which equates to the same) at 2p or less.

If we gave out timelines everyone would know that they would -/- a few years so traders wouldn’t have a clue either.
