I fired off a few emails to press yesterday questioning there reports on the Hotel Collection and what HCL had said. Meetpie was one of them. Let's hope a few more write updates.

The Hotel Collection in talks to extend banking facilities The Hotel Collection, formerly Puma Hotels, is confident that it will have capital to meet operational expenses after its banking facilities were acquired by Lone Star Funds from Irish Bank Resolution Corporation. According to results for the year ended 31 December 2013 by the Hotel Corporation, which holds 49.9% of Puma hotels shares, its £323m debt was bought after Puma’s existing deal ran out on 30 May 2014. Earlier this month Puma rebranded to the Hotel Collection. It said at the time that it had achieved strong revenue growth driven by resurgence in the meetings and events market. The Hotel Corporation said that there was “uncertainty associated with the going concern of its subsidiary company [Puma Hotels]”. Though it added: “Puma is presently in discussions with Lone Star to explore other options in terms of banking facilities going forward.” Puma Hotels (now the Hotel Collection) resumed management of its 21 regional four-star properties in April 2012 after Barcelo pulled out of a 45-year lease – five years after signing it in 2007 – to operate them. Although the Spanish group agreed to pay a penalty fee of £20.25m for breaking the contract, Puma lost annual rent of £30m from Barcelo. I have been trading AIM for many years now, And yes agree with what you say.

Board is therefore adopting a more cautious stance with regard the rate of this revenue growth for the remainder of 2014, and believes that, due to the risk of delay in converting proposals and opportunities into orders, the revenue performance for the year may be below current market expectations.

Did you predict the fall in the price of ACTA as well over the past few weeks ? This was only one days trading ! Marked down yes, however a lot of buying going on, some folk got a bargain price. Let's see what happens, Funding is being talked about , so that's positive , and there is £675 k in bank which should hold the share price. Not the time yet to go hang myself.

MH3834 You could be right saying about a buy out , This could be the sale of the century. A bargain if you have the money.

What ? So you can't post on a board what you feel at the time ? Some facts as well. Just think back to what you post or posted in the past ......ACTA .......... You pumped that so much, are you still doing it or did you dump in the end ?

Didn't you pump ACTA in the past when it went to 70p, yes I remember , What happened there then ?

Why is this company not looking at other money making opportunities , seems to me the directors are taking there cut for doing very little. They sound real down beat, almost no hope, only a hint that things may turn around . However we know the hotel collection are making money , they say they have strong revenues, why haven't they mentioned this? Why don't we change our shares into ordinary ones at take control with 53% , we could then sell the company , then see it's worth, bit more than £500k I think.

I get so wound up when I see this happening , knowing that someone can manipulate the price so much. Happens so often, it's why less people trade on AIM nowadays. They are fed up with being done.

The price drops by 20% in a matter of seconds. AIM MARKET TRICKS AGAIN !
